This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

Bottle. Small ivory fizzy head that mostly diminished, spotty amount of lacing, mostly transparent, and visible carbonation. Nose was mildly malty, sweet, and citrus hops. Flavor was malty, some caramel, hoppy but not overly so, citrus-grapefruit. Fairly smooth mouthfeel and light-mediumm body. A nicely balanced IPA and one that I enjoyed because it was not over-the-top hops since I am not a hophead. Would drink this one in the future and worthy of a try.

amber pour .... sweet smell of hops ... grapefruit and citrus .... bitter start with sweet in the middle followed by a bitter finish ... best of both worlds sweet grapefruit and pine resin .... hops are not overpowering .... nice and smooth ... drinkability is high for this one .... i’m drinking this one at about 60 deg F ... probably a little better at 45-50 ..... I love this brewery

Tap: Took no notes so I’m writing based on memory. Deep orange pour with a wispy off-white head. The aroma shows some mild fruitiness of oranges and a light peach touch, but the hops seem restrained. The body is light with a restrained hop character as well. Not much bitterness at all. Reminds me of a watered down, less bitter Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. It seems the wide distribution has given it a "macro IPA" feel to it.

pours from bottle a copper color with off-white head. Aroma of floral hoppiness with a little grapefruit. The flavor starts with a hint of sweetness but quickly the floral hop bitterness takes hold. It is not overly bitter, just enough to balance the beer. There are hints of grass, gratefruit and maybe a twinge of caramel. This is a very nice drinkable IPA.

Lagunitas IPA is a standard around northern california. Full bodiedd with great aromatic hops, a well rounded IPA. I enjoy it every time

Medium hop aroma and flavor. Good malt flavor to balance the bitterness. Overall very drinkable and good IPA.

Creamy head on an orange body. This is an IPA, very hoppy, very fulfilling. Now I call this a beer! It brings joy and satisfaction. This brew is well-suited for almost any occasion.

Love this stuff! Great drinking ale, has supplanted SNPA for me in the best commonly available beer here (CA, that is) Very Californian, solid hops and malt balance, with long finish. Not for the hedonist, but for the drinker.

This is a solid IPA. It pours the deep copper color with a hoppy & grapefruity aroma. The hops bite at first sip just like they should. The only negative for me was the finish. This beer has a dry finish that left a bad taste.
