3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle poured a nice amber color with a descent off-white head. Citrusy hop aroma with some floral notes. Bitterness hits your tongue right away. Great west coast IPA, on of my fav session IPA’s as it comes in 6-packs.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Very solid single ipa. Balanced and crisply hopped. It’s very refreshing, and definetly easy to drink if your a hop head. I’m on the look out for a Lagunitas double ipa.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Pours a light orange amber with a minimal, lacy head. Aroma of citrus, flowers, toffee and fruit, with a taste that is much the same. Light to medium body with fizzy carbonation. Lingering finish with grapefruit and pine. Bitter resinous aftertaste.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours amber with a tanned head. Smells of caramel. Quite bitter. Hoppy aromas of pine and fruits. Medium to light bodied. Bitter + sweet finish. The 43 hops and 65 malts doesn´t change the fact that the main ingredient (too much) is water.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bottle. Solid IPA if not spectacular. Nice and hoppy boquet but not so much on the taste. Not overly bitter as would be expected given the 40 different hops in the brew.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12-oz. bottle from Naven. Pours a slightly cloudy copper with a medium off-white foamy head that diminishes some to leave just enough for some good sticky lacing. Aroma is sweet floral and fruity hops, pine notes however non-offensive, and a slight caramel toasted malt nose. Medium bitterness, acidity and sweetness, all in all very well balanced hops and malts, some hint of yeast hanging out, nothing hits you too harsh, finish is quite clean, especially for an IPA. Light bodied and smooth, clean palate.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
1 pint draught, The Gingerman, NYC. Light amber. Rich malty nose. Mellow hoppy background. Full-bodied, but refreshing. Aftertaste is really hoppy. Nice IPA. Floral hoppiness in the finish. Straightforward and even through there is a plethora of hops used to make it.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2007 Re-rate, 11/07, draft at Uptown Billiards, Flagstaff: One very fine and nice IPA that I chose on draft over my favorite Stone IPA, not disappointed. The appearance was amberish in color very nice initial head and great lacing, true to the style. The aroma was full of piney, floral, and citrus hops. The flavor was firstly hoppy yet also supported by a significant malty base, light caramel, perhaps an earthy or herbal note underneath it all. Full mouthfeel for the style, finishing with a firm gritty bitterness that was very enjoyable. Ratings bumped significantly from my original 3.2. Original rating: Maybe these IPA’s aren’t so good while cutting grass in the winter, as the temperature doesn’t get to where it needs to be. Either way, the pour was boring, amber-ish orange with no head at all and little lacing, The aroma was hoppy, but not offensively piney hoppy. The flavor was typical of an IPA, not much special, but smooth and lacking citrus and fruit accents. Mouthfeel was average, maybe a little thing for the style.
