Hoppy flowery scent that you can about taste but no lingering bitter flavors. An easy to find favorite and a real pleasure on tap.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap. A very tasty beer with some industrial flavours...highly hopped, earthy and piney with sweet brown sugar notes and a great dry finish that’s not too bitter. A bit uneven but well-made.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle... Poured an amber tone with big white head which dissipated into some nice lacing. Malty and hoppy aroma, flavors of hops, barley malt, citrus fruits and sweet caramel like taste. Mild, crisp finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 22, 2008 Deep clear copper body, topped by a creamy and dense off-white head. Looks inviting. Aroma: grapefruit/citrus, leafy. Flavor: some citrus presence, a little balancing sweetness, earthy bitterness and maybe something like pepper. Very traditional IPA.

Draft at an Irish pub in Berkeley, CA. Pours orangish with a light white head. The aroma is hoppy citrus. The taste is big very big on the hops for a regular IPA. Nice overall feel great IPA.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour was a nice light copper color with a two-finger off-white head. Head hung around for a bit and offered some lacing. The aroma was of floral hops, some citrus and underlying sweetness. Pretty one-dimensional flavor with hops dominating and not enough sweet malt to offer any balance. Slightly metallic mouthfeel.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle - pours clear rust with lots of suspended particles that aren’t going anywhere. White head leaves very nice lace. Fruity and floral hop aroma is quite beautiful. Body nicely robust, though flavour is slightly one dimensional. Fruity hops, but with a good amount of balancing malt. This is a quality IPA, one I will definitely get again. 43 different hops? Wow - nothin’ like the good ole US of A for some old fashioned extremism.....
