This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet youíre on.

Aggressive pour left a three-finger head above an orange/amber body with lots of rising carbonation. Moderate pine and citrus - grapefruit - hops aromas, but not overpowering. Hops flavors are strong, but immediately countered by a light maltiness. Hops bitterness lingers in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, less carbonation than expected.

Bottle. Light amber coloured with a nice lasting white head. Aromas of pine, grapefruit and some sweet malt. Flavour of bitter hops, caramel and more hops.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2010 Orange-blonde with a thick rocky head. Aromas of citron, pine and spices. Snappy bitter flavor. Very fizzy on the palate. This has been a go-to session beer for me for a while. One of the best Bay Area IPAs for sure.

Clear, golden-amber with lasting head. Fresh citrus-grapefruit, and mild caramel notes. Mild sweet malt caramel and citrus-grapefruit hops. Refreshing, with the expected bitter finish.

An okay IPA. More ingredients than usually = a bit over average, which means itís delicious and nice with its fresh wellhopped flavor. Nice and more..

Amber with medium white slowly dissipating head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops with some caramel and pine. Decently balanced with enough malt to mix with the hops that do slightly win out in the end. Not an overpowering bitter finish, a little dry with notes of grapefruit & earthy hops.

I havenít rated this one yet? This was recommended to me b the guys at Willow Bend Liquors in Lutz, FL. Compared to the Dogfish varieties 60/90. An incredible IPA with a fresh and perfectly intense hoppy taste balanced by malts. This is smooth and refreshing. An incredibly good IPA if not one of the best on the market.

Bottle from Canals. Golden orange pour with a one finger thick head. Nice hoppy aroma witha sweet pine citrus flavor. Not a bad IPA. This company is pretty solid.
