COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

This beer starts with an aroma of grass clippings and pine. It pours a clear amber, with a thick white head and good lacing. The taste is of a strong malt beginning, with a pine and bitter finish. It does have a fairly heavy palate for an IPA, but it fits well with the style. One that just recently became available in my area, and a good recommendation for a session ale.

On tap all over san francisco. I don’t mean to be biased but we midwesterners and eastcoasters do much better with the ipa style. This isn’t bad by any means, but its so forgettable. I actually enjoyed the Freak Out more. From what i remember it had a nice smooth bitter and was definetly true to the style, but i can name about fifty better IPA’s.

12oz. brown bottle. Pours medium clear orange, lasting white cap, two fingers in height, leaves good lace. Grapefuit hops are present in the aroma, though light. Flavour starts with fruity malt, some sweetness, grapefruit and orange hop notes mid way through then finishes with medium grapefruit bitterness. Good session ale.
