3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap. Poured a dark golden with a white head. The flavor was nice and bitter with some fruitiness, but I was hoping for a little more maltiness to make it more interesting. Iíve had way worse.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle Amberish w/ off-white head, doesnít hold, some lace. Sharp hop nose, piney. Light bodied quick to finish w/ lingering bitterness. Flavor is dominated by the piney, piney citric aftertaste. I donít get much else, a fairly thin beer it seems. Kinda boring hop juice, Iíd like some malt please! I enjoyed the Pils(didnít rate it), and really liked the Decimator, this one I find one-dimensional, let down, and yeah I know an IPA is supposed to scream hops, but I like it when it mutters other things as well.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Has a cloudy copper appearance and is a nice standard IPA that is bitter throughout, nothing exceptional though.

absolutely the best IPA iíve ever had. the hops here are probably overdone for most palates but i canít seem to get enough, i guess its an addiction

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours clear orange with a thick cream colored head. Moderately hoppy aroma with some maltiness poking through. Taste is fairly light but decent. Some earthiness, mild citrus. Overall, good but a little thin compared to some of my favorite IPAís.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Typical American hoppyness, only this feels a bit tinny and a little short, lychee and pine, a bit rough around the edges.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy amber with little floaties and an off-white head. Aroma is very floral and hoppy. Taste is very nicely balanced with a strong hop presence, with good malt backing. Very floral with pine and grapefruit/citrus. Taste needs to be a little sweeter IMO. Mouthfeel is full but could use more body. Has a very bitter aftertaste. Nice lacing on the glass. A quality IPA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Itís aw-aiight. Dark golden, decent white head. Yeast chunks thrown throughout. Typical, yet not that typical left coast IPA. I expect more from the west, gettin less though. Same piney, grapefruit, apricot, and light caramel up the nose canal. Flavor mirrors, but really just plain boring. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Like I said...itís aw-aiigt and worth a try at least once.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a dark golden color, with a nice head and minimal lacing as it goes down. Mostly hops, but certainly not as overpowering as their label claims things to be. A decent, but unspectacular, West Coast IPA. Still, I think Lagunitas provides some of the best value out there--very high quality beers at a reasonable price.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear, bright coppery/amber color, with a large, frothy whiteness above. Good lace-leavin, too.
Aroma is spot on for a good IPA, fresh and full of pine, fruit, citrus, sharp and lively, hoppy as all-get-out! I keep wanting to return to the smell of it, and each time it refreshes with this particular aromatic profile.
Taste: juuust right, with blasts of hops, under a solid malt foundation, flooding the tongue and dominating the senses in every way, without going overboard.
Just delicious, and exactly the way an IPA should act, if itís worth itís mustard, I say. Long, hoppy finish, sticks in the mouth and like it there. Mmmmm, I keep thinking, while this flavor never quits,...Mmmmmmm.
