This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet youíre on.

Full nose of citrus fruit and caramel malts. Lightly sweet body with caramel notes evolving into light grapefruit and light hops. Not overwhelming, but the finish thins out a bit.

donít know how or why iíve avoided this for so long. lots of citrus aroma and a good amount of caramel maltiness. flavor is very reminiscent of indica ipa. surprising sweetness but a healthy grapefruit hoppiness. not the most bitter ipa, but propably one of the most tasty. I kind of like the fact that itís not a near 7% abv ipa.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2011 I might be tempted to give this beer somewhat higher marks if I wasnít so convinced that itís basically a SNPA clone. While the hop profile is a bit different, of course, thereís a real similarity in the breadiness. I like the tart, dry qualities somewhat but thereís just not enough thatís distinctive about this one.

Enjoyed at AT@T park as a matter of fact. That stand behind home plate. 7$. Of course thats a rip off. I know. It was good though. A little more characteristic than your standard.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2007 Light amber beer with a nice frothy off-white head. Lemon and herbal hop aroma, actually a hint of lemon tea for a moment. Some orange and peach lingers in the background. Malty flavour with a bunch of bitterness coming very quickly, and again that strange tea-note.

Heavy hop flavor, kind of soapy mouthfeel, very citrusy with a pine tree ambiance. nice drink, a little plain but well done. I think my glass did not get all the soap rinsed out as this is my least fav drink from this brewery to date - i will rerate with a clean glass when i get a new bottle.

Pours a nice amber color. Aroma is sweet citrus hops with notes of honey and pineapple. It a very clean and crisp and loaded with nice hop flavor. It has a slightly bitter but fading finish.

Sweet, this is delicious. Orange look with a small fast disappearing head. Aroma is very fresh hobby with notes of oranges and pine from the cascade. The flavor has a broad bitterness, and a refined malty sweetness, which balance it out nicely. Classy.

Pours a crystal clear amber that forms decently into a foam head. Smell is good, can tell this is an IPA. Solid drinker.

12oz bottle. Pours a medium copper that is just about opaque with a decent head and excellent lacing. Decent aroma of hops. The taste is nicely hoppy, if just slightly restrained. I suppose you could call this a sessionable beer then. A pretty decent IPA for a pretty decent price.
