This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

I’m a fan of this. Lovely full aromas, initially floral (rose?) followed by citrus and tropical hints, especially passion fruit. Medium bodied and carbonation, taste is a good balance between caramel malt, citrus and pine resin. Great dry bitter finish. A classy beer, well put together and on the borderline of sessionable.

Bottle from Marks & Spencer, costing a very reasonable £1.52 after a multi-buy discount. Deep gold in colour, with a thigh, white head and a lot of fizziness. Clean aroma of tangerines, pine and a touch of grassy hop. Flavour had sweetish, biscuity malts, some more citrus fruits, leading to a decent, bitter, finish. Enjoyable.

Flaska@Vaxholms kastell. Grape och ananas dominerar doften. Häftig och påtalig beska som attackerar gommen. Efterlämnar en smak av tropiska frukter i en skön eftersmak.

It pours a dark golden with a white head and plenty of lacing. There are aromas a citrus with a touch of spruce, complimented by a touch of sweet malt. It has citrus flavors with floral compliments and a slight hit of caramel. It has a moderately bitter twang on the palate.

Very nice foamy head not to strong or hoppy. Drinking it on a hit summer afternoon, just hits the spot. Carmel color citrus flavors.

On tap at Wipeoout on Pier 39. The pour is a nice coppery gold with a thin film of head that leaves awesome lacing. The aroma is loaded with hops and pine resin. The soft tropical fruits are excellent as they last throughout the entire inhale. The flavor is pretty good. The pine still remains strong, but the tropical fruits and hops kind of fall off in favor of a little bit of a malt presence. The mouth feel is watery with a quick fading carbonation and a real slick finish. The aftertaste is lingeringly bitter, but not as bright as the aroma would lead on. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hard to find a bad beer from these guys. Deep golden pour with sticky white top. Aroma is pine and malt. Flavor is more of the same, with a bit of a bite at the finish that just brings you back for more. Malty, piney goodness, smooth stuff.
