COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet youíre on.

Nice amber color, small head with a decent staying power.Good aroma of hops citrus and some what spicy. The flavor was malty hoppy and grapefruit with an after taste being much the same a the aroma with a nice hop bitterness.Could stand to be a little more hoppy but then i'm not a hophead so this brew really hits the spot.

Pours a nice amber, good head and some nice lacing. Aroma is all hops, and so is the flavor. Nice west coast IPA.

One of my fav. california beers. great ipa characteristics, hoppy with a lot of grapefruit. Clean finish with a somewhat astringent aftertaste. Good overall everyday beer.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2008 Pours reddish/copper. Small sudsy head, dissipates quickly. Slight carbonation. Aroma of Cascade hops and something sweet. Flavor is hops then immediate and long bitter finish that lasts forever. Some grapefruit in there. I didnít rate this as highly the first time, but now it has become one of my favorite daily drinkers. (And, yes, Iím an IPA fan). Itís not over the top like some, but I keep coming back to it repeatedly.

Gorgeous orange-amber color with thick white head and nice lacing. Nice sweet malts and balancing hops. Full bodied and lightly carbonated. Good IPA

Pours a nice light amber-red with good head. Floral aroma with citrus and hops. Nice fruity taste with hints of pine, and a pleasant hop finish. Silky palate. A very decent IPA, not enough hops for me though.

On tap in Houston: Could not rate appearance since the lights were turned down for frickin low, good head though. The aroma was that of grapefruit, melons, toasted malts, and piney hops. Crisp piney taste, but well balanced IMO. Medium-bodied with a lively mouthfeel. A sure fired winner this beer is.

nice head, great color, nice and well balanced ipa, goes down nice and easy, the best part of it is that it was free at the brewery

Pours clear and golden, with a small frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, pear & hops. I find the flavor a bit lacking in character - it needs a little more colour in the taste. Palate is mildly bitter, pretty smooth going down - alcohol is hidden very well. This one gives you an aftertaste to last the rest of the night.
