This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet youíre on.

Bottle. Clear copper color with an average rocky white head that was lasting and produced good lacing. Good hoppy citrus aroma. Medium body. Moderate hoppy bitter flavor with an average finish. Good brew.

12oz bottle - Pours amber with a short white head that stays pretty well but doesnít lace much on the way down.. Aroma is light grapefruit and pine with a fair malt presence as well in the aroma. Flavor is not as hoppy as other west coast IPAs Iíve had. Fairly balanced a nice blend of caramel malts and citrus hops. Palate is smooth and medium bodied. Very drinkable would make a nice session.

unlike some over the top american ipa, this is a well balanced brew. hazy orange colored appearance with yellowish head. floral aroma of grapefruit and citrus. full bodied, hoppy as should be. though i do think the 43 different hops and 65 various malt recipe is probably a commercial gimmick.

Bottle. Very hoppy aroma with lots of citrus and strawberry marmalade. Flavor is hoppy, but backed up by a good malt foundation. Spicy and peppery. Bitter finish. A very well balanced beer and very flavorful for its modest strength.

Pours orange-amber with a two-finger white head. Standard west coast IPA aroma--citrus- and pine-heavy, with very light malt backing. Very hoppy, with virtually no malt flavor. Dry, grassy, and citrusy finish. A bit one-sided, but very good.

Bottle and on draught at Palominoís, San Francisco. Very similar so Iíll rate together. Light orange, big thick off white head. Looks nice. Fresh strong citrus hop aroma. Very nice hop and sweet malt taste - very nice and balanced. Strong orange citrus hops but good mix of tasty malt. Falvourful bread like. Very nice IPA, Iíd say the bottle tasted better than the pint, only because the of the sub par restaurantís handling of it - it didnít taste as fresh.

Nice crisp and fruity IPA with a sweet floral nose and nice body. A graprefruit citrus backing it against the malt and strong hopping. Good stuff.

Pours a clear orange/pinkish color body with a clingy, white foam on top. Aroma was sweet citrus and piney hops. It seems that all of the hop flavors are balancing each other out. You get about a half of a second of every flavor associated with hops. Never enough of any to really make me jump but all around a very well/over balanced ipa. Great session brew!
