COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie), moderately hoppy (flowers, grapefruit, resin, orange). Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, heavily bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly astringent.

Smelled hoppy and malty. Poured a nice honey yellow. Subtle start to the flavor that quickly strikes with a sharp, bitterness. Nice!

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2003 Re-rate: nice look to it. fluffy off-white head on a pale ale body. This IPA has more roasted malt character then I am used to, but it is smooth and well-rounded. I'll drink this again.

dark brown colour, but that might just be because i was in a dark area. the smell is mild and the taste was very good at the beginning but a little overpowering as i got more into the beer.

The head is thin and collapses quickly, but you are assaulted by wonderful hops, and grapefruits on the nose. Orangy hazy light brown. Beautiful rich body, with the hops and citrus cutting thorugh the malt in harmony...Hops heaven...excellent beer!

Superior hop aroma - pine, citrus, whole flower goodness. Nose is not without a wonderful nutty, caramelly malt presence. Perfectly balanced, strong chewy malts, Bitter flavorful hops. Not overly bitter, smooth and lasting flavor. Quality is apparent at first sip. Awesome.

Nutty, hoppy with hints of malt. Slightly lemon and citrus flavors come out as it warms. Very decent and well worth the drink.

Awesome orange color with a nice balance of hops and spices. The hops really comes out towards the end of the glass.

A great Triumph. I am a Hop-Head if there ever was one. An IPA at only 45 IBUs?... Proposterous! Except it's a beautiful ale. Very high in hop aroma. So they didn't throw the hops in at the first mention of a boil?... So what! A greatly aromatic IPA witha wonderful malt presence and great aromas. I love it whether you call it an American Pale Ale, an English IPA or,... I don't giva a shit. This is a well thought out recipe for a wonderful beer style!

A bright orange colr with a small white head. This looks like it is thick as it pours. Dry pine, bread, and grapefruit aroma. Initially this was very good for about 3/4 of the 22oz bottle, the last 1/4 has turned very watery. A nice pine/grapefruit taste at first that is very easy to drink. Still a quality IPA that is very easy to make into a session beer.
