COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

Clear orange/light amber color with floaties (looks like part of the yeast cake from the bottom). Lingering white head. Aroma is sweet grapefruit, floral, and crsip pine. Flavor is very much like the aroma and finishes with a nice bitterness that isn’t overpowering. Medium to full palate - mouthfeel has some weight to it, but isn’t too heavy at all. This is a very good IPA in all aspects. 12 oz bottle, $1.35 from River’s Bend.

(draft @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Deep copper pour with a thick and foamy tan head. Aroma isn’t as hoppy as I expected it to be, but still had a decent mix of floral and bitterness. The flavor is very peppery and hoppy, but not too overpowering, with a smooth maltiness that takes over the middle of the beer and a slightly bitter hop finish. Aftertaste is quite bitter, floral, hoppy, and has some citrus even. Very nice and smooth IPA.

Bottle: Pours a light amber color with a very small head that neither stuck around, nor stuck to the glass. Smells very earthy in the nose... Maybe hints of an orange. The hops are not over the top, just bitter enough in the taste. The rest of the taste is of soft orange, or some other citrus. Very earthy feel to this one.

(Bottle at home) Pours a bit hazy light amber with a small white head. Oily, spicy hop aroma. Sweet barley. Ripe fruits and raisins. Taste: pretty sharp bitterness with a menthol-ish endig. Not as sweet as the smell. Pine/grapy hop flavor. Citrus peels. Special and wierd. Small to medium body.

A solid IPA, reddish amber colour, medium bitterness, flavor and aroma are strong of grapefruit, high carbonation, and fairly light body, overall has a sweet but still noticibly bitter finish.

Aromas of light citrus, almost metallic pine, floral notes with a bit of caramel malt and some cola like yeast notes. Amber orange in color with a tall, white head that thins. Flavor is a bit less than I was expecting. It starts out with a metallic/mineral twang. Then there is a bit of floral pine in the finish. As it warms up, the malty caramel starts to grow. Body is fairly light and carbonation is high.

Clear golden copper pour wiht a lasting white head. Nice, fresh hop aroma. Floral. Taste is a little lighter than I prefer. Hops are there, probably the 43 of them I guess, but nothing really *bam*. Very dry, moderately bitter finish. Nice, slightly resinous and bitter finish. Nothing extraordinary, but it’s an easy drinking and good tasting ipa. I liked it.

( Thanks to realale420 ) for a awesome trade. Pours a medium clear amber with a nice fluffy head. The aroma is wonderful. Hoppy, grapefruit, pine. Taste was bitterish (not in a bad way).

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2006 Wonderful golden color with a nice white frothy head that doesn’t last long. Has a fruity, citrus, toffee aroma. Not too bitter, has a unique clean fresh taste, probably from all the different hops. Has a very nice palate, not too carbonated, but it tingles your tongue a little. All of the flavors mix very well, but you can still pick them apart. An overall very nice brew, but it does have a lot of crap floating around in it.
