COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

Bottled March 20, 2013.
Appearance: Clear amber body that shows off carbonation with a sizable light tan head that has average retention, settling into a coating.
Aroma: Some sweet citrus and some slightly tart lemon aromas. This smells nice.
Taste: This is rather mellow, more so than their pale ale actually. Some lemons and sweet orange. This drinks easily.
Palate: Medium bodied, medium carbonation.
Overall: This is more tame than I expected coming from their pale ale. This is good though and worth buying.

An exceptional intro IPA with great drinkability. Good friends with Bell’s Two Hearted and Widmer Bros Drifter, only richer.

Aroma is great, taste, meh. A bit sharp. Mouthfeel is a little off. Doesn’t hold head.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s, San Fran. Good IPA, pours golden with a nice head, well balanced and a good introduction to IPAs, not overly hoppy.. Perhaps a little on the bland side for real beer afficiandos.

On tap. Beautiful orange color, clear with a one finger head and nice lacing. A sweet pine-hoppy aroma. Some flowers and citrus. A nice, mild, not too hoppy IPA. Some floral and grapefruit citrus flavors also present. Not that sweet, fair amount of bitterness. Body is light and dry, slightly slick, with medium carbonation and a nice lingering aftertaste of bitter hops. A nice refined beer.

Supprisingly good, nice almost floral aroma, balanced. Just what you would expect from a good IPA. Hoppy but not in your face with it.

My best rating as of yet. Overall great IPA. Not overly strong, but good balance. Plus, the brew looks great and smells appealing. Time to get a room, lol.

12oz bottle. Pours a gorgeous, cyrstal clear bright amber with just a little visible carbonation and a thick foamy head that lasts. Aroma a big warm hops over bread with a little citrus in back. Flavor gentler than expected but carries forward a soft but bitter note that emerges slowly, then mellows to a well balanced aftertaste with no bite. Overall one of the most easily sessionable IPAs in memory. A fav.
