This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

Bottle. Very pleasantly surprised. Great bitterness, citrus, pine. Very tight carbonation. Little spice. Super drinkable.

Starts with citrus followed by a strong pine taste, all around a very complete IPA

Aroma: citrus notes, mango, some pine and herbs. Appearance: hazy golden color and white head. Taste: medium pine bitterness, mango, some yellow citrus, nice malty backbone, resin, semi-dry. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: An icon, great tasty stuff,

Pours amber brown with slight cloudiness and plenty of carbonation. Consistent thick white head. Aroma is not that pleasant with a soapy note coming through amid the pine, honey, mint and orange peel. It’s sweet although there is bitterness there as well, but not enough to balance it out. Hint of booze on the nose, but it’s watery for its ABV and has a slightly unpleasant aftertaste. If I hadn’t had this a few times before I’d think this one was a dud that was over-oxygenated. At least it’s consistent! I want to like this given it’s availability and origins, but it’s a real disappointment.

Aroma of honey-on- toast and cereal dominate. The hop aroma is quite muted: fairly undifferentiated hints of pine and citrus. Taste: the balance between sweet and bitter is ever so slightly too much in favour of the honey sweetness for me. The bitterness is very nice, though: very orange pithy. It’s a very nice beer but very simple and, because it’s imported, it’s too expensive.

Tap at Winking Lizard Citrus, pine and tropical fruit flavors the most notable. A honey maltiness helps balance all the hops. Very easy to drink.

Nice but fairly standard west coast citrus hop aroma. Average appearance. Very good complex flavor package, this one is put together very well. Excellent aftertaste with decent bitterness.

Pours a fairly small foamy and bubble tan head and has a clear golden light amber appearance. Decent lacing. Aromas of floral and earthy hops. Fruity and toasted malts as well. Flavours are quite fruity and hoppy, lots of citrusy and piney hop notes. Average carbonation and retention. Medium bodied with a bit of an astringent mouthfeel. Good balance of bitterness and sweetness. An easy to drink IPA with subtle and effective hops that don’t overpower the palate.

Cerveja que tomei em Londres no bar The Ice Wharf em Candem Town. Sabor interessante, um pouco diferente das IPAs que estou acostumado a beber. Uma cerveja gostosa.
