This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

Hmm...I’m surprised I haven’t rated this. Pours a clear bright golden with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, along with pine grapefruit, orange, and pineapple. The taste is less citrus and more and has more hops and piney impressions. It also has some caramel malty undertones. This one is well balanced all around with what it offers in flavor. Dry, with a very piney aftertaste. Medium in body, with a texture that is sticky and slightly rough. Lively carbonation. I actually find this quite refreshing. This is a very good, although maybe unspectacular IPA. However, I really don’t find any weakness here, and is pretty solid with all it offers. And it isn’t to heavy so that you can have a few of these. This is as easy go when and where you find it available.

330 ml bottle. Pours clear golden with white head, good lacing. Hoppy aroma, citrus, mostly grapefruit. Later on less distinctive. Taste follows the aroma, hoppy, citrusy, mostly grapefruit. Long bitter finish, high carbonation. Very good IPA.

Backlog from june 2016. Draught at Taphouse. Hoppy. Aroma of pine, grass and grapfruit with malty backbone of caramel. The flavour starts sweet but finish bitter.

pale golden with perfect clarity. thick frothy white head that slowly dissipates. resiny citrus hop aromas of lemon and mandarin. notes of melon and soft malts as well. body is medium, with light astringency. resiny texture with a crisp carbonation. flavors are mostly from citrusy hops and bitterness is up front but its perfectly balanced by a bready malt backbone. this bitterness which is just not overwhelming, sticks around well into the finish. this is probably the best Lagunitas IPA in a bottle I have ever tasted! wish it would always taste this good.

Crystal clear, light orange. Quickly disappearing frothy head. Aroma toffee, pine needles, grapefruit. Palate medium, medium carbonation. Taste complex, beginning with light caramel notes, progressing to tropical fruit notes - pineapple and lychee. Bit sweet in finish, long lasting biterness after that. Well blended. Overall nice IPA.

Très belle bière dorée à mousse beige persistante. Arômes d’agrumes et prune. Entrée en bouche très douce puis pointe l’orange, l’ananas et le houblon avec une amertume bien présente mais peu agressive. Joli !
