COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a beautiful and clear copper color. There’s two fingers worth of off-white colored head, with okay retention and a soft texture. This head leaves behind nice lacing on the glass. S: This starts off pretty malty. Once it warms up slightly, it develops a character of piny, grapefruity hops. The Lagunitas house character is pretty unmistakable - and as always, enjoyable. Their other beers show it off better, though. T: The hop profile here is pretty mild: there’s only a slight flavor of grapefruit and pine. What there is, especially post-swallow, is a decent amount of bitterness. Normally, I’m not a fan of this approach to IPAs, but there’s just enough sweetness to balance out the finish. Since there isn’t much malt or hop flavor here, it’s mainly reliant on the house character of Lagunitas to provide the flavor - and while it doesn’t do a great job, it does just enough to make it solidly tasty. M: While it’s a touch sweet, it has that clean, crisp feel I enjoy in IPAs. The dryness does a good job of counteracting it’s slightly full body. Carbonation isn’t much of a factor either way. O: Solid, but not my favorite Lagunitas offering. Still, its great drinkability can’t be overlooked. It reeks of an old-school IPA with its prominent sweetness and generic hop bitterness - however, it’s good enough where I’d have no trouble putting it down again.

This has a nice color and a nice initial taste. Then the citrus hits and the bitterness comes on strong. A little off for me, but not bad.

On tap at Beertemple, Amsterdam. Body is clear golden, head is medium, white, rocky, average lasting, excellent lacing. Nose is light tropical fruits, flavor is fruity, orange peel, resin. Medium sweet, light bitter. Finish is medium lasting light hoppy bittersweet. Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation. Easy, refreshing, less hoppy than Lagunitas pale ale, or mixed up in the pub, good though.

Is the "Lagunitas" India Pale Ale beer a beautiful amber calving in Petaluma, California and Chicago. Charge up the old tradition of hops processors of Nova Scotia and its character is manly, being fit only for a few chosen: truckers, private detectives and poets of South Florida. But not his spirit, moderate that barely exceeds 6 degrees, the cause of so restricted small group of diners, but the acrid treasured every sip, inclement, tremendous, wicked. A bitter, well my friends, that swells the senses of pleasure and twinkling in the palate as Fireworks and streamers and floats and clowns.

355ml bottle at Arlanda Airport, waiting for a delayed layover flight. Not what I imagined for my #200, but at least it?s a good classic. Pours clear golden yellow, slight hints of orange. Sticky big head. Flower and grass nose. And whoops, while I’m typing this suddenly the delay of the flight is removed and I have to drown this to go board the plane. At least it?s a story, right?

Keg at brewdog bar, Sheffield. Bright golden amber colour with small white head. Aroma is more malty than hoppy, bready and a bit woody. Taste is subtle bitterness with a refreshing moreish aftertaste. Prickly and a bit thin. Very drinkable.

Draft. Bottle. Aroma is a combo of sweet malt and citrus hops. Nice appearance of medium gold with perfect foam. Flavor is crisp hops, caramel and a nice medium body to it.

Initially good, but the taste and palate fall flat after the first couple of sips. Hoppiness is hardly there. This is an IPA, right??? ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
