COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

12oz bottle. Pours a gorgeous, cyrstal clear bright amber with just a little visible carbonation and a thick foamy head that lasts. Aroma a big warm hops over bread with a little citrus in back. Flavor gentler than expected but carries forward a soft but bitter note that emerges slowly, then mellows to a well balanced aftertaste with no bite. Overall one of the most easily sessionable IPAs in memory. A fav.

From the bottle, this pours a flawless appearance of deep copper orange with a foamy long-lasting head, classic IPA. A little more rustic tarnish to it than others perhaps, all the more appetizing. Aroma is strong on citrus hops, strikingly reminiscent of mandarin orange. On the tongue, this brew comes on as a strong bitter piney and resiny rendition, with a sudden warm caramel maltiness in the finish. Some interesting sweet mango citrus notes on the hoppy side too. Too much bitter resin for me, seems a bit out of balance with the malt. I do love the aroma and appearance, but it's harsher on the palate than others. Probably would pair well with dinner rather than solo, I'll give it a second chance.

Arrived early at Oakland. Enjoying a popular beer from Pataluma until I depart. Definitely airport prices here. Ouch!! Hope everyone had a good weekend and has a good week. &#

Bottle. Pours a clear copper body under a frothy one finger beige head that left lots of sticky lace. The nose is bright and piney with some citrus and caramel malt. The flavor is rather bitter and brash with loads of piney hops and just enough malt to keep it somewhat balanced. It actually finished a bit sweet, but not terribly so. Medium bodied with a slight resiny cling with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty solid stuff.

33cl bottle. Coppery golden colour with a medium big white head. Aroma is sweet malty with hoppy notes. Some hints of pine and caramel. Flavour is lightly bitter. Malty at first but hops and caramel soon became apparent. Some pine and toffee. Medium long aftertaste.

Great example of an ipa, full of hop aroma and tastes, and not too much abv.

A classic ipa. A lot of pine, heavy on the pine. Lagunitas loves their IPAs and I go back for them ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A mid golden yellow coloured beer with a frothy white head. A huge hoppy aroma, grassy, piney and pithy citrus fruit. Dry mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma, a mouth puckering bitter hop flavour. Grassy, piney, lime and orange citrus fruit with a dryness in the background that suggests malt. The finish is a lengthy bitter hoppy affair!
