COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2003 Eh.. Not fantastic but not bad. I had expected this to be another west coast hop monster and it just didn't show up. Sort of reminds me of Quail Springs IPA. Sure the hops are there but at a subdued level. A thoroughly enjoyable brew but not an "In your face IPA". I still have to try Stone Ruination and Dogfish 90 minute both in my fridge.

Bouteille 22oz.

Cheers!

Pours light amber with white head. Aroma is pine, citrus, bread. Flavor is good, hoppy with some malt, citrus, and pine notes as well. This is a solid I.P.A

When I think of good, solid IPA, I think of Lagunitas. Not the best one out there, but still way ahead of mediocre IPAs. It has a complex hoppy taste and aroma, and displays typical IPA bitterness, still well balanced.

Bottle from Voldby Koebmandsgaard, DK - Orange colour, with a small white head. This has a good overall citrus fruity taste/aroma but with the large amount of hops used here found it abit messy/nondescript on the palate. Good still, just not as much as i was expecting.

Looks decent. Aroma is hops. Taste is the same with a mild bitterness. Not much fruitiness here. Overall, a nice mild ipa.

Bottom line....this is what an IPA was meant to be. Light, flavorful, citrusy, pine with a great finish. Perfect balance of hops, malt and alcohol. My go to summer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yellow-orange pour with a white head. Aroma of citrus and hops. Flavor is mild with more citrus, lemon, and hops coming through. Sweet.

Lagunitas IPA is a honey colored pour with a thin head of medium size white bubbles. Nose is a heady mix of spruce and floral hops. Body is fizzy and quite a bit lively with small bubbles. Taste is a nice blend of hop punch and malt base. Finishes with good bitter hop happiness.
