3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at some random Irish pub somewhere in North South Boston. Despite being served in a frozen glass it's got an orange tint and an inch of white foam though it's hard to estimate how much the bartender poured down the drain to get there. Solid leafy pine notes on the nose. Solid pine on the tongue. Finished clean. Not my fave but bumping my score up some to compensate for the suboptimal conditions.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Token/Brooklyn Roasting Co. A clear darkish gold, finger of white foam, sticky lacing. Nice aroma of citrus, pine, slightly sweet malt. Tastes much the same, very balanced flavours, piney hoppy backend. Very easy to down, quenching dry bitterness. A quintessential standard IPA, no faults, better than I remember.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
BOTTLE 12 OZ, courtesy of Maersk. Clear dark amber, creamy head. The aroma is not blowing you away, but is nice and fresh - green grass and zest, notes of gooseberry and lemon pith. The malts are almost non-existent. The taste is also mostly dry - just a little fruity sweetness. The rest is mostly hops - lemon pith tart bitterness, fresh grass and light gooseberry astringency. A good one, even though not very bright.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Slightly hazy amber pour with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel and citrus zest. Taste is much the same, light for an IPA but balanced, caramel and citrus with a bit of a grassy note. Solid IPA.

Dry citrus hops. Juicy. Don’t have much to say about it really. A basic, quality IPA.
