This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

Lagunitas IPA is a honey colored pour with a thin head of medium size white bubbles. Nose is a heady mix of spruce and floral hops. Body is fizzy and quite a bit lively with small bubbles. Taste is a nice blend of hop punch and malt base. Finishes with good bitter hop happiness.

From tap @ BBF 2014. Pours clear orange with a moderate white head, good lacing. Fresh aroma, tropical fruits, sweet, light herbal. Flavor is moderate bitter, hoppy, tropical fruits, light apple (?)

Avg IPA, not bad, not great. I usually see Maximus next to it in the cooler for the same price, so choosing this over Maximus is not wise.

Pours a clear golden color with a tame aroma. Hoppy and fruity but just and average IPA.

Bue à la pression. Blond doré, CO2 bien présent. Légère dans son ensemble, houblon plutôt discret. Correct.

.5l on tap @ Vihreä Haltiatar Pours clear golden with medium high, stiff head. Aroma is hops, fruits, malts, exotic fruits. Some berries. Flavor is hops, malts, herbs, brown sugar notes. Odd side taste. Something like plastic.

Noting impressive about this one. My experience was that it was rather flat right through. This is not a stand-out IPA.

Bottle at Källarkrogen. Clear yellow with a white head, nice lacings. Aroma medium malty (caramel), heavy hoppy (citrusy, piney). Flavor medium sweet, heavy bitter, light spicy. Medium+ body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had on tap at Wayside in Biltmore. Totally solid IPA. Pours just on the orange side of the pale/ipa spectrum with a decent head. Not overly carbonated. Taste is reminiscent of all the good west coast IPA’s in terms of malt and hop profile- pine, resin, citrus, grapefruit.....blah, blah. Well balanced and not too dry on the finish. Just a totally solid IPA. Nothing spectacular but accomplishes what it set out to be in spades- a very enjoyable, sessionable, not-lacking-in-the-flavor department IPA.

Very sweet on the aroma and cloying on the palate. Did not taste right at all for style like a sweet Belgian vs an ipa.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a red/golden body that yields a half finger white head that lasts for about thirty seconds. No carbonation is seen rising. Some spotty light foamy lacing is seen trickling around the sides of the glass. The smell had some malts in front of the hops and comes out very strong. There is some caramel that comes out as the beer warms. The taste was pretty much the same with a nice added sweetness, very much impressed. On the palate, it sat about at a medium, sessionable, balanced wet/dry aftertaste and finish. Overall, this is a good IPA, however, with the malts coming out as strong as they do.
