3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 US.fl.oz. bomber poured into a pint glass...
Appearance - Light amber body, with a very rich creamy beige head. Great head retention and amazing lacing! Looks very good for an American IPA!
Smell - The aroma is not very intense, but then again, the bottle I had was fairly old. Grapefruit, oranges, pine, a bit of flowers, and some nice bready notes on the nose.
Taste - The taste starts out with quite a good hop bite, with grapefruit-like bitterness and some pine. Then comes a surprisingly nice mild sweetness. Some caramel, some bread, and some toasted malts are also present. Finishes in a slightly dry and bitter after-taste.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium body to it. Low in carbonation. No real hints of alcohol, yet it may give a warming sensation to your body.
Drinkability - Goes down smoothly. For an American IPA, this is a very sessionable beer. Drinkable enough for a beginner hop-head, yet not too light or lacking on flavour.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a few bottles scored from the back of someone’s fridge who wasn’t using them. Orange side of amber about a fingers worth of white collar. A bit of tropical, some bitter, sticky, overall tasty and very easy drinking. Now that they have put this in a 12-pack and made the price competitive with all the commercial swill out there, and got it into grocery store displays, I can see this being more of a go-to. I’m still partial to their higher alcohol more character offerings, guess they have to make some for the light weights.

Not my favorite from Lagunitas, but this is still a really enjoyable beer. Good, if not great.

So that’s what 43 different hops tastes like! To be fair, not bad at all. Classic American IPA. Plenty of citrusey, piney bitterness with a little exotic fruit to match the sweet malt. Good stuff.

Solid ipa, had it too many times. Got some good aromas and balanced very well. Nothing special though, but nevertheless good beer.

Can’t believe I’ve never reviewed this before..... I’ve drank the shit out of this all summer and in the past. Looks like beer. Aroma is nice but mild, malty aroma, caramel, some pine, finishes with astringent. Taste is way better. Lemon, smooth, good stinging carbonation, bitter lingers. Love this beer it has tons of flavor and so easy to drink.

Pours golden, nice white foam. Aroma is fresh. Grassy and herbal. Taste is also aggressively herbal and grassy, hopped up. Feels quite light and not very alcoholic. Classic sample of West Coast IPA.

Keg at Ox184. Yellow pour, slight haze, white head. Hoppy citrus nose. Medium body, sharpish fizz. Bitter and citrusy. Always good.
