This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet youíre on.

Pours a fairly clear dark gold with a moderate head. Aroma of pine, slightly sweet taste balanced by abundant hops. Very good IPA.

Many, many bottles in many, many different places. How have I not reviewed this beer before? Itís a very middle-of-the-road American IPA, which means itís got a moderately-high hop aroma and firm bitterness, some malt but not too much, and a pretty clean fermentation. I honestly canít fathom why they make it with "43 different hopsí and í65 various maltsí (??), but that sounds complicated for no reason, so good for them and their logistics team. Overall -- not a bad choice if you see it on a grocery store shelf.

6 pack from LCBO. Kills me kinda to buy six but the things we will do for a rating. Had their pilsner in Florida (liked it) & their more hop forward ipa in Columbus, Ohio (really, really liked it) but this ... Is just your run of the mill, table ipa. A review below suggests this brew is a good middle of the road export beer & thatís why Heinken hoovered this up. Makes sense to me. Hops seem old & muted, malts are forward but offer little in the way of complexity, bitterness is whatever, really lets be honest I feel I could write anything here ... No one is reading, no one is listening, Iím Kafka stuck in a beer rating website, drinking too much & getting raged by the machine. But yeah anyways decent beer to pound after you drink something more local & more interesting.

Wonderfully fresh taste with a distinct hoppyness. Balanced and mature. Will try again.

Bottle from Morrisons. Fresh zesty citrus hoppy aroma with subtle malty notes. Nice looking golden colour with a nice white head thatís lasting well. Midweight, nice clean hoppy flavours, lasting well on the long finish, again subtle malt in the background. A cracking beer! :)

Bottle, acquired from Morrisons, drunk at home. 16/01/2016 For quaffing a good clean IPA this is really a go-to beer. Itís got a load of hop extract and I always find it strangely consistent which is why Heineken decided to stump up the cash Iím sure. The quality is second-to-none. Unlike most hop-forward US IPAís this one stands up to export. The malt balance is very good. The malt they have used is excellent. Super clean beer. Super sessionable. Cheap and easy. No messing around and a classic I can go to again and again an d not be disappointed by. Great beer.

Poured from a bottle. Pours a clear medium amber with a full head of white foam. Pine resin aroma with a hint of citrus. Not too strong but noticeable. Medium body. Mostly bitter citrus rind flavor on the roof of the mouth. Not too harsh with a fairly smooth finish. A little lingering bitterness but most of the flavor disappears fairly quickly. Somewhat refreshing but a little too bitter for me. OK but not great.

From a bottle at Animal Kingdom. Pours clear bright gold with a creamy, bubbly off white head. Tastes like sweet grapefruit, caramel malt, bready, and tropical citrus hops. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like bready and caramel malt, citrus hops, grapeftuit.

Drank from bottle. Find this brewery to be good, but slightly over hyped. Good ipa, not great.
