Thanks to BDR for sharing. Bottle, pours a yellow-gold body with white head. Aroma of green hops. Flavor is more of the same with some citrus. Bitter, slightly astringent aftertaste. Light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel.

Biright orange, huge white head. Loud aromatics, spills out all over, vibrant, bright, shining out the full force of a pure, unadulterated hop attack. Pineapple, lemon, grapefruit, and all the needles on the pine forest floor. Gorgeous! There it is again in the taste, a sheer blast of bitterness. Pelting the palate with bitter hops, but also juicy fruit,...just enough malt to make it bearably, but this is an unabashed double IPA, a no-holds-barred, ball bruiser. Apart from the bitter blast, fairly smooth and creamy, not so far from drinkable, either. There’s something that creeps into the back of the throat that’s a bit unpleasant, a litter after-...something. A little drawback, that, I little drag away from delicious. But the big hop flavor I do enjoy, I do, I do. I’m really liking this...not as raw as the Hopslam I had earlier, less punishing.

I remember this being a pretty great beer. Well balanced, between the malt and the hops, but a lot of taste. The finish is bitter and then sweet.

Bottle at Chris_O’s 19th April 2008 tasting. Light gold with a hoppy aroma and a well-balanced flavour. Not too complex, just good. Very soft on the palate, with a nice coconut aftertaste. Good stuff.

Small tight white head. Lots of carbonation can be seen. Color of body is almost a cross between peach juice and yellow. Clear in nature. Nice hoppy nose. Flavor profile matches that of the nose. My guess its one or two hops at most. None of these crazy 10+ variety blends!! (or at least it tastes that way). Hops linger on palate in the aftertaste. Not too bitter, but still present. Nice beer. Could it be more complex? Perhaps, but sometimes its nice to have something on the simple side.

22 oz bomber shared with Naka. Pours orange with slight ruby tones, egg shell head, foamy and one finger. Nose says pine and floral hops with mild caramel sweetness. Taste is thick, rich caramel malt up front with great floral and mild piny hop notes. Mild citrus and plenty of earthy bitter, but it doesn’t all linger. A sweetness takes over at the end and mellows the bitter in the after . Slight grassiness in the after.
