drewaha (129) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Pours an orange brown. Smell is primarily grassy and hay. Not much cherry at all. Just had the Geuze and this is similarly just not as tart and a lot toe more sweet. I like how the sweetness is tempered a little. Enjoyable on a spring day

   AROMA 8/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 15/20
Dogbrick (8507) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Sample at the brewpub. Hazy copper-amber color with a medium thin and foamy off-white head that dissipates steadly. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tart fruit, oak and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of tart cherry, herbs and yeast. The finish is mildly tart with a fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.

On tap at the brewpub. Amber orange, aroma striking rose water, mild cherry flavor but still lots of rose water, not all that sour, maybe lightly tart. Kinda nice.

On tap at Lagunitas. Pours a hazy pale brown without much head. Slight sourness but not much cherry flavor.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is hazy amber with a big white head and great lacing. Sweet cherries, sour fruits, raspberries, oak, a touch of bread, grapefruit, and slightly herbal aroma. Taste is sour cherries, medicinal, light band-aid, raspberries, woody, and caramelly with a lightly tart/bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Not a bad fruited sour.

On tap at brewery. Clear golden with a creamy white head. Sweet malty cherry caramel and cereal grain aroma and taste with a pleasant tartness and a creamy palate.
