Commercial Description:
From the first day of the first mash of the first recipe in the first space to this oasis 13 years on the road; We have worked hard to walk in the footsteps of our hero brewers. The Esteemed brewer of California's best Pale Ale, the Noble Brewer of the planet's only legal Steam Beer, and Oregon's Rebel Brewer from Newport. Thirteen years down the road, we have found our own voice as brewers but our admiration for the Great Ones has not dimmed one bit. If we walked well down the hero's path ourselves, perhaps we too have been an inspiration for others. Beer is a Bronze Age business and we feel honored to have left our footprints on its path into history, at the same time leaving our flavors on your buds. Thanks for your trust over the years and we hope you enjoy this specially brewed Hi-Gravity Auburn offering. Beer Speaks. People Mumble! O.G. 1.085 76.92 IBU

"Sweet hoppy beer smoke. Dark copper body to reddish brown with a 1” tan cap looks good but unfortunately there was zero lacing. Standard west coast hop aroma with pool water and a sweet toffee finish. What’s with this aroma the more I smell the more of it I don’t like, I swear I just got some arm pit in here. first sip is hoppy but not as strong as the aroma. Taste is fairly IPAish but with a richer darker malt presence. There is an pine flavour that unfortunately turns soapy on some sips. This diffenatly full flavored and bold, but it’s coming across syrupy almost like this was made from concentrate and not enough water was added. Whatever this is good enough to drink but it has no personality of its own. Dammit I tasted the pool water again."

Nice looking dark amber beer with a big fluffy creamy head. Aroma is very interesting. Big dark malt jumps out, lots of roasty notes, maybe even hints of coffee and chocolate, the hops are there too. The flavor is more of the same, hoppiness with the skeleton of a stout, and some nice alcohol warmth. Interesting beer.

Bottle... Found my notes from a while back. Very amber with white head. VEry thick malty smell and also smells of alcohol. Decent hop level. But mostly sugary, honey and carmel tasting malts. Can’t beat the price and quality.

At a tasting, thanks Natalie and Roei, Small stable head lacing the glass, crystal clear amber colou, raromas of spice, pine and cooked jammy fruit, flavour of dark concentrated honey, with barnyard notes and light spiciness, strong but not overwhelming bitterness, bitter but suprisingly subtle aftertaste. overall a good strongandt relativly balanced ale.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks tomer! Clear amber color with a beige head. Aroma of pine needles, some resin, hints of flowers and a bit of toasted malt. Very bitter resinous flavor with caramel and some alcohol, especially towards the finish. Medium to full-bodied, a bit oily.

This tasted like your standard hoppy red ale, with a little too much malt and a little too heavy. Alcohol however is very well hidden behind the sweetness. I had a bottle fresh, then I had an older bottle and this beer really needs to be consumed right away. Fresh it is well balanced, and pretty darn drinkable, could be a good session beer. But the second the hops start to fade, this beer just gets too sweet.

reddish-brown pour with a light tan head/ Malty aroma. The malt flavor is abundant in this beer, has some dryness and a little sweetness. Leaves a thick lacing on the glass. Its an OK beer.
