BuckNaked (1204), Tempe, Arizona, USA May 23, 2008 22oz bottle: Pours to a clear redish amber body with medium sized bubbles rising to meet a medium-large dark eggshell colored head. Aroma is a fruity citrus hops, pine, mild rose petals, with hints of sweet caramel and lemongrass. Taste is quite bitter up front with some flavors of lemon rind & pine hops, bitter orange rind, grass, with hints in the background of a sweet pale malt that serves to provide a nice backbone behind the hops. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, finishes with some lengthy hop bitterness and bits of light dusty pale malt. Nice job on the mouthfeel and palate on this one. blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA May 23, 2008 bottle, generous head, excellent hoppy nose with touch of vanilla extract , nice even body with clean finish HonkeyBra (1266), Lemont, Illinois, USA May 23, 2008 Nice red pour with sizable head. Hoppy flavor (who’d have thought?) Slightly sweet to start with the bitter hoppiness. Good, although there was a bit of an unpleasant funk in the finish.
