Commercial Description:
From the first day of the first mash of the first recipe in the first space to this oasis 13 years on the road; We have worked hard to walk in the footsteps of our hero brewers. The Esteemed brewer of California's best Pale Ale, the Noble Brewer of the planet's only legal Steam Beer, and Oregon's Rebel Brewer from Newport. Thirteen years down the road, we have found our own voice as brewers but our admiration for the Great Ones has not dimmed one bit. If we walked well down the hero's path ourselves, perhaps we too have been an inspiration for others. Beer is a Bronze Age business and we feel honored to have left our footprints on its path into history, at the same time leaving our flavors on your buds. Thanks for your trust over the years and we hope you enjoy this specially brewed Hi-Gravity Auburn offering. Beer Speaks. People Mumble! O.G. 1.085 76.92 IBU

Bottle. Pours a deep reddish amber color. Strong pleasant aroma of fruit and dry hops. Flavor is slightly sweet, mildly roasted and has a nice bitter/piney hop character. Very good beer.

Draft had a small rocky head. The aroma was malty and hoppy. The flavor seemed a balance of complex malt and robust hop bitterness and finished the same. Terrific.

22 oz bottle. the beer poured a brownish red with a big creamy brick head. the smell of citrus hops is strong and sweet. The taste is just like the smell but the hops don’t bight as much as expected. good carbonation and lacing.

22oz bottle: Pours to a clear redish amber body with medium sized bubbles rising to meet a medium-large dark eggshell colored head. Aroma is a fruity citrus hops, pine, mild rose petals, with hints of sweet caramel and lemongrass. Taste is quite bitter up front with some flavors of lemon rind & pine hops, bitter orange rind, grass, with hints in the background of a sweet pale malt that serves to provide a nice backbone behind the hops. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, finishes with some lengthy hop bitterness and bits of light dusty pale malt. Nice job on the mouthfeel and palate on this one.

Nice red pour with sizable head. Smelly hoppy, with caramel malt. Flavor is complex: citrus hops, pine hops, grass, some fruits lots of hops with just enough malt. Mouthfeel is big, as you’d expect from a high gravity beer. Overall, it’s a good, interesting brew.

Clear red pour with a thick white head. Lots of hops on the nose. Piny dry hops, citrusy floral hops. Smells delicious! Hoppy flavor (who’d have thought?) Slightly sweet to start with the bitter hoppiness. Good, although there was a bit of an unpleasant funk in the finish.
