Commercial Description:
From the first day of the first mash of the first recipe in the first space to this oasis 13 years on the road; We have worked hard to walk in the footsteps of our hero brewers. The Esteemed brewer of California's best Pale Ale, the Noble Brewer of the planet's only legal Steam Beer, and Oregon's Rebel Brewer from Newport. Thirteen years down the road, we have found our own voice as brewers but our admiration for the Great Ones has not dimmed one bit. If we walked well down the hero's path ourselves, perhaps we too have been an inspiration for others. Beer is a Bronze Age business and we feel honored to have left our footprints on its path into history, at the same time leaving our flavors on your buds. Thanks for your trust over the years and we hope you enjoy this specially brewed Hi-Gravity Auburn offering. Beer Speaks. People Mumble! O.G. 1.085 76.92 IBU

Clear red pour. Refreshing if a tad weak on taste. For the ABV the booze is well hidden.

Poured from bomber into glass. Clear port color, light carbonation, very little off-white head. Aroma like boozy cherries and raisins. Pretty smooth over the palate, alcohol present but not as complex as the aroma which is kind of a let-down. Still a nice beer and enjoyable.

US trip Aug/Sept 2009 - Fat white head that persists down the glass. Orange, pine cone and hints of spice on the nose. Big, fat and drinkable with a nice bristley hop finish

Bomber pours a mostly clear reddish amber body with a creamy two finger beige head. Nice looker. Pungent aroma of citrusy orange and grapefruit hops and toasty caramel and toffee. Pine hop notes add a nice edginess. Taste has a prevailing hop bitterness that is mostly citrus, but is enhanced by pine resin and a leafy earthiness. Solid maltiness balances with a caramel and toffee presence that is both toasty and sweet. Very nicely executed. Lagunitas is turning out some excellent ales at great prices. I paid less than five dollars for this bottle in Asheville, NC.

Bomber! Pours reddish-brown with not much of a head. Strong aroma of bread and caramel with a backdrop of hops and EtOH. Unexpected amounts of citrus/pine hops upfront melts into a sweet biscuity finish. Booze is hidden well. Light carbonation and a slightly syrupy body. Tasty stuff!

Botlte @ Bar Volo: Pours a cloudy copper, good foamy off-white head. Nose is boozy, buttery, copper, toffee and very hoppy. Flavour is caramel, butterscotch, whiskey, grass. Great red ale.
