Commercial Description:
From the first day of the first mash of the first recipe in the first space to this oasis 13 years on the road; We have worked hard to walk in the footsteps of our hero brewers. The Esteemed brewer of California's best Pale Ale, the Noble Brewer of the planet's only legal Steam Beer, and Oregon's Rebel Brewer from Newport. Thirteen years down the road, we have found our own voice as brewers but our admiration for the Great Ones has not dimmed one bit. If we walked well down the hero's path ourselves, perhaps we too have been an inspiration for others. Beer is a Bronze Age business and we feel honored to have left our footprints on its path into history, at the same time leaving our flavors on your buds. Thanks for your trust over the years and we hope you enjoy this specially brewed Hi-Gravity Auburn offering. Beer Speaks. People Mumble! O.G. 1.085 76.92 IBU

Bomber. Pours deep amber with an off-white head. Aroma is strong pineapple hops, citrus, pine, and some caramel. Flavor is resiny hops, grapefruit, cannabis, and tea leaves with a good malt balance. A bit thin in the mouthfeel, but still very nice.

Picked this up right after DLD this year. Sampled after DL and Black Sun. Aroma is very resiny- caramel and pine. Pours darkish amber with a nice head. Oily, caramel, hops and citrus dominate with a nice pine bitterness. Very solid.

Pours a rustic amber-orange color with a scant head of milky beige. Laces in droopy sheets. Minimal carbonation. Aromas reek (in a good way) of pine oils and resins, along with some ganja and sticky hop oil. Chewy caramel flavors are drenched in raw hop oils and resinous pine sap. A touch of Mary Jane finishes the deal. Tacky mouthfeel with well-coated lips. Solid bitterness. Quite drinkable for the hophead. I liked it.

Bottle: Pours a dark ruby color, nice creamy head. The nose is ripe and hoppy, lots of sweet chewy malts and explosive earthy hops along with the usual doughy caramel and spritsy cascade. The flavor is nice and balanced, a full body and mouthfeel, like a good barleywine. I need to pick up another one of these some day.

Label describes it as a "Mondo Large Red Ale". Pours an inviting deep copper red with a lasting off white head with clinging lacing. Malty aroma with a touch of bread dough. Flavor has a strong malt overtone with a slight hop bite towards the finish. Overall a very nice strong/red ale.

Bottle. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus hops and lemons. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is similar to the aroma, but the malt is quite strong, and the hops are more piney in the finish.

Bottle purchased at Corral Liquors, in Granite City, IL. Pours a clear dark orange with a frothy tan beige head. The nose is primarily a malty caramel front backed by piny hops. Medium-bodied and creamy, it finishes bitter. The flavor follows suit with the aroma: heavy caramel malts with a tight, bitter hop finish. A nice anniversary ale.

Bottle from Belmont Party. Poured dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that lasted and produced excellent lacing. Moderate complex toasted malt, citrus and bread aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture. Heavy balanced bittersweet flavor with a solid bittersweet finish of long duration. This is a solid complex beer.
