COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mondo Large Red Ale
From the first day of the first mash of the first recipe in the first space to this oasis 13 years on the road; We have worked hard to walk in the footsteps of our hero brewers. The Esteemed brewer of California’s best Pale Ale, the Noble Brewer of the planet’s only legal Steam Beer, and Oregon’s Rebel Brewer from Newport. Thirteen years down the road, we have found our own voice as brewers but our admiration for the Great Ones has not dimmed one bit. If we walked well down the hero’s path ourselves, perhaps we too have been an inspiration for others. Beer is a Bronze Age business and we feel honored to have left our footprints on its path into history, at the same time leaving our flavors on your buds. Thanks for your trust over the years and we hope you enjoy this specially brewed Hi-Gravity Auburn offering. Beer Speaks. People Mumble! O.G. 1.085 76.92 IBU

Pours a beautiful reddish amber, lovely soft foamy head and remarkable lacing. What you get here is a near-perfect blend of malt and hops, with an IBU that keeps things edgy enough without wrecking the palate. One of the best rounded IPAs out there, and certainly the best value.

Klar, bärnstens färgad, orange-latte färgat skum. Doft: Kola, nötter, torkad frukt, skogsjord, lite humle. Smak: Ljus kola, torkad frukt, fruktsoda, milda smaker av humle och barr.

Bottle - Pours a deep amber, with creamy top. Potent aroma: rich malt, dark fruits, floral. Tastes of a caramel malt, over-ripened dark fruit, maple syrup, HOPS throughout, with a pleasant hops and warming alcohol finish.

355ml bottle. Dark ruby body with a medium head. Caramel, berries, grapefruit. Something chemical in the flavor that I can’t put my finger on.

Karamell, mycket sötma, en del alkohol, lite apelsin, torkad frukt, malt. En helt ok öl men ingen nu favorit, den var inte för stark men smaken vägde heller inte upp för ölets styrka. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

nice deep amber- red color; great, hoppy aroma; lots of citrus and pine notes; citrusy, piney hop flavor up front with fruit notes and notes of pineapple and grapefruit; bready, slightly sweet malt backing it up

pilsnerrogge (2816) - Finspång, SWEDEN - SEP 10, 2016
Bottled:
Clear amber with a large, thick head.
Sweet, malty aroma with toffee and caramel.
Flavour brings more sweet, malty toffee and caramel leading to some hops and alcohol in the finish.

Flaska systembolaget. Mörkorange kulör. Knäckig doft med lite torkad frukt, citrus och äppelmos. Maltig smak med lätt nötig ton. Spannmål, jord, kryddor och knäck. Fyllig munkänsla med trevlig efterbeska

2 Finger pillowy long lasting head atop a crystal clear red amber brew... rings of lace are pretty. Aroma smells fresh.. citrusy hops and caramel malts battle for the front of the nose.. but ultimately the hops win out. Flavor is much like a DIPA with alot of caramel and munich malts mixed in... quite a bit of bitterness melts into fairly thick toffee/caramel notes.. citrus and piney hops.. with a long hoppy finish. Body is thicker than expected.. carbonation is light and helps with a slightly creamy body and a oily hoppiness from front to back... toasty malts show their head more as it warms.. Drinkability is not too high just because it is a little viscous.

Lagunitas Lucky 13 is fairly average. Nice read pour with a thick white head. Taste is malty, malt and more malt. No hop character - just slight sweetness. Lucky 13 fairly average but nothing special.
