4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a beautiful reddish amber, lovely soft foamy head and remarkable lacing. What you get here is a near-perfect blend of malt and hops, with an IBU that keeps things edgy enough without wrecking the palate. One of the best rounded IPAs out there, and certainly the best value.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours clear amber with off white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit. Less hoppy flavor than expected based on aroma. Not very bitter. Malty and citrus, with pretty strong rye flavor. Packs a wallop at 8 point something % abv, which might be responsible for the spiciness on the tongue. Nice beer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
An incredible combination of earthy, spicy, stonefruit, burnt caramel, and raisin aroma and flavor with a thick mouthfeel. Just as easy to drink on a Spring morning as on a cold Winter night.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
22 oz bottle from Biggie Liquors (Conifer) into a pint glass. Light reddish amber and clear appearance with a huge rocky off-white head, slowly diminishing and thick chunky lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel, pine, resin, bready malts, toffee, light citrus fruit, earth and bitter hops Similar flavor, strongly sweet with alcohol and light bitterness. Medium to full body with a slick, dull, feel and minimal carbonation. Kind of goopy and messy, probably been sitting on the shelf since last spring/summer. I’ll have to revisit a fresh bottle in the future.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Large format bottle, served in a snifter. Very good red ale, not quite as hoppy as I would prefer, but good.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft - Huge earthy orange hops and caramel. Clear amber with a rich beige head. Sweet caramel malts and again the earthy malt profile. Bitterness is in the finish but the huge front end sweetness is nice. Almost like an American barleywine.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a dark amber with a finger of tan head. Malty aroma, with a roasted malty taste to match. Sweet undertones throughout that cling to the palate, hoppy taste throughout with a mild bitter finish. The alcohol is slightly
noticeable in this one.

Yum. Big and rich. Little bit sugary and sweet on the palate, but this helps make the medicine go down.
