COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From the first day of the first mash of the first recipe in the first space to this oasis 13 years on the road; We have worked hard to walk in the footsteps of our hero brewers. The Esteemed brewer of California’s best Pale Ale, the Noble Brewer of the planet’s only legal Steam Beer, and Oregon’s Rebel Brewer from Newport. Thirteen years down the road, we have found our own voice as brewers but our admiration for the Great Ones has not dimmed one bit. If we walked well down the hero’s path ourselves, perhaps we too have been an inspiration for others. Beer is a Bronze Age business and we feel honored to have left our footprints on its path into history, at the same time leaving our flavors on your buds. Thanks for your trust over the years and we hope you enjoy this specially brewed Hi-Gravity Auburn offering. Beer Speaks. People Mumble! O.G. 1.085 76.92 IBU

11oz glass at brewpub, good aroma, sweet, fruity, citrusy. Clean brownish orange color, ok head, minor lace. Bittersweet flavor. Medium body, oily creamy mouthfeel, bitterdry finish. Well, as an alt this fails, as a tasty beer this wins. Awfully hoppy for an alt, but considering the source..

Nice malty flavor/aroma. This is how I prefer my amber/red ales, because this is pretty hoppy but not over the top. Very enjoyable.

copper, frothy off-white head. citrus, resin, floral, pepper, toffee. medium-heavy bitter, medium sweet. medium-heavy body, oily feel. amarillo hops tend to be hit or miss for me, but in this case they were a hit.

Nice amber color. Citrus and pine nose. Palate follows suit. Very ipa like with a touch more caramel malt. Overall very solid

Sweet sweet aroma. Bit of Lemon and and hops. Dark amber color with a light tan head. Tastes hoppy and and a bit malty with a copper after taste. This it pretty damn good.

Confusing red strong ale that tastes like an IPA. Taste is sweet citrus and pine mixed with a little extra malts creating a decent beer that while refreshing and easy to drink is not something I will purchase again. ABV is very well hidden in this ale that tastes a lot lighter then it really is.

Pours a reddish brown with a white head. Pine, grapefruit, caramel, sweet malt. Very nice. A more subtle version of Arrogant Bastard. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pours a deep red with a smallish off white head. aroma is mostly tart fermented apples with some name sweetness and floral hops to complete the profile. the flavor is very similar, with a bit of piney resin and brown sugar. mild carbonation and sticky. good beer, but not sure is really a strong and in flavor, but it’s definitely strong.

Bomber->tulip. Amber with medium offwhite head. Aroma: grapefruit and pine hops over malt and spices. Taste: citrus peel, pine hops, sweet malt. Chewy, like a double IPA. Really good.

Pours a dark amber with a off white head. The heads bubbles are tight and left plenty of lacing. Medium carbonation. Smells like sweet fermented apples, pine, and a little bit of spice. The malts are dominant on the front of the palate, but the hops quickly take over.

In a tulip from a bomber. Smells like hops with some brown sugar but very thin and not a lot of aroma. The taste is hops, caramel, not a lot of malt, but very good for an Imperial red. Meduim, non-carbonated, thin palate. Every year I drink this I like it more and more. Is there a better red beer...?
