3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bottle poured into a Snifter at 47į. Color is a clear gold with good carbonation and a soft white head. Aroma is a big fresh hop scent. It has a lighter medium body and a light crisp mouth feel. Flavor has a touch of malt that gives it a sweet base but the hops jump in big with an orange candy like taste that turns more citrus in the end with a bold bitterness. In the after taste the citrus stands out and hangs on. Overall its a very tasty brew, definitely a unique and complex flavor.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sweet, malty and complex. Notes of flowers, honey and sugar. Clean finish. Another solid effort from Lagunitas.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Iím not quite sure what separates this from the regular Lucky 13, but I sampled it on draft at the Craft Ale House. I donít recall a whole lot of difference. This version pours a dark golden color with a slightly orange hue. The head is of a decent size and laces nicely around the glass. The beer offers a prickly nose and mouthfeel, but in a good way. I get a sense of really spicy, floral and dry hops from both the nose and the body of flavors. The body is really smooth and delicious. The finish is floral, spicy, dry and sits very well on my palate.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Market Square Liquors - 22 oz bomber. Pours a medium copper with a thin, but persistent white head. Resiny hoppy spruce-like aroma. Flavor is bittersweet and citrusy. Touch of spearmint. Some back end syrupy sweetness rounds it out nicely. Thick, sticky mouthfeel. Another solid entrant from Lagnitas - at 4.29 a bomber this could easily become a standby when nothing new to buy at the local.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very good tribute. This beer pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma has a bit of malt, a lot of hops and a good deal of booze. The flavor Has that malty sweetness for a second or two and then gets the hops full force. Very clean and crisp. Well done.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Deeper shade of golden, orange hued, moderate white head, foamy, spotty lacing.   Semi-sweet rind on the nose.   Faint caramel and citrus zest.   Smooth malty background, a little rindish.   Very faint dankness.   Warming but not alcoholic.   Hops are there, but take a back seat to the malts.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Moreso hops on the backside, citrusy, not too bright, and some rind.   Pretty solid, but then again nothing out of the ordinary.   Its pretty clean too.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Another good beer from Lagunitas. Itís right in their normal wheelhouse, despite the whole alt angle. Hops are strong and provide a big citrus and spruce flavor. Thereís some light sugary vinous complexity, as well, but Iím not sure where itís coming from. The beer has a definite sugary, candy cane note with deeper caramel sticking more to the background. The mouthfeel is nice and round. The taste starts sweet with lots of delicate hoppiness and ends with a healthy but relatively gentle bitterness. Itís deceptively easy to drink for the abv, and thereís very little stickiness or booze to it. Once again, Lagunitas has made a strong, hoppy and delicious beer. It might run together a bit with some of their other offerings, but that doesnít mean itís any less delicious.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bronze with an off white head. Pillowy and plenty of lacing on the glass. Beautifully aromatic with pine and citrus. Full bodied with intense hoppy bitterness. This beer is quite appealing.
