Clear brown, light tan fizzy head. Nose held soft notes of vanilla toast and citrus with an underlying brown sugar tone. Soft hoppy flavors ride over light notes of dark fruit, vanilla caramel and hints of chocolate. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, bittersweet finish. Not bad, not great. Thanks for sharing, artusory!

Amber-chestnut brown body with a creamy, amber-tinged head. Quite carbonated. Slight yeasty aroma intermingles with some alcohol, and light malt. Yeast and alcohol meld well in flavor. Must use a Belgian Strong Ale/High Gravity Yeast. Alcohol apparent, little detectable hopping. Sweet maple syrupy malt.

Bottle... Clear amber ale with copper highlights and a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Good retention. Nutty, chocolaty nose. Also, a smidgen grainy with a light toffee note. Medium to full-bodied and slightly creamy with mild carbonation. Moderately bitter - mildly sweet chocolate and toffee aspects. Lengthy, sensibly bitter finish. Maybe a little underrated, this one.

Big Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a medium light tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is malt with fruit and brown sugar. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a strong malt with a bitter finish. A good American Strong Ale from Lagunitas.

22 oz bottle. Pours amber with a slight red hue. No head with some lacing. Toasted caramel aroma and flavor. Somewhat fruity and sweet tasting. Alcohol was noticeable. Overall, I just did not get it, pretty mediocre.

22 oz. bottle poured into a trappist has a creamy layer of light tan head on the surface and a ruby color. aroma is malted, light plumb and dark cherry, some sugar sweetness, and faint spices. mouth feel is medium light with decent carbination and some thickness on the tongue. flavor has a malted base with some bitters, alcohol is present, light spices, and perhaps some caramel. brew finishes with some creamy coating, carbination, and bitters. liked kill ugly radio much better and just not sure of there labeling decisions on these as it does the contents no justice at all. i am a fan of the lagunitas products generally but this is a mid range beer in a confusingly labeled bottle.

22 oz. bottle. Very dark with rich tan head. The worst part was the flavor in comparison the the appearance: looks great, tastes normal, and eve light for its appearance. Taste was solid though, but nothing to get super excited about. Its a good beer but very normal for its style. Worth trying, but not at the price I got it (5 dollar 22oz. when much better ones were selling for 4 dollars).
