| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 12, 2008 Bottle: Pours a dark amber with a large, creamy sandy head. Nice lacing. Aroma is typical Lagunitas sweet and assertive hops with caramel and citrus. Flavor is subdued on the hops, but plentiful with caramel and citrus. A little bit of roastiness. Doesn’t pack as much of a hop presence as I had hoped for. Ethereal (1710), London, Greater London, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 2, 2008 Bottle at Chris_O’s 19th April 2008 tasting. Brown with a cream coloured head. The rich, complex malt aroma brings to mind JW Lees Harvest Ale. Very smooth on the tongue with a strong sweet malty flavour, but a little short on the finish. Not bad, but could do with a little more complexity. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 14, 2008 22 oz bottle from Bottlework’s in Seattle. Pour is clear brown amber with a smallish off white head. Aroma of caramel malt and some bitterness. Taste is mostly the caramelly sweet malt, though there is some almost black pepper spiciness mixed in also. The finish has some hop bitterness. The body was medium, and was quite drinkable. Nice one, I’ll support anything that supports Frank. BuckeyeBoy (1699), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 15, 2008 Pours a two finger cream head that fades slowly, leaving a good lace. Nice deep amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Maybe a caramel nose. Flavor has some caramel and raisins with some hops/bitterness at finish. Reminds me of a double IPA $5.45 for a 22oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.
