Bomber from BlindEyedBetty - thanks! Dark, clear amber with an off white head. Mildly sweet, malty nose, caramel and brown sugar, earthy hop and a bit of fruitiness. Loose, drippy lacing. Sweet flavor, but with a bite - caramel and bitter nuts, earthy hop and some grapefruit zest. Ends a bit dry with a citrus rind bitter. I liked this a lot, particularly with fried food.

Wrote a nice review for this one which RateBeer promptly "ate". This bottle was probably oxidized. I’ve had this beer before and loved it.

Bottle- Copper brown pour with foam off white head. Love FZ but not necessarily the beer. However, it was rather refreshing and like moses mentioned reminded me of a belgian. Some spice and hops with a dry hop finish. Decent body and a good blend.

Bottle. Copper pour with a short fizzy tan head. Nose is caramel, soft fruit, spices, sweet malts and almost dessert-like. Taste is hoppy, spicy, slight floral with yeast notes, caramel, sweet malts, and dark fruit. Body is thick and slightly creamy with some lingering bitterness. Carbonation is moderate. Finishes with more sweet malts, caramel, spices, soft hops and dark fruit notes. Tasty!

Exhuberant creamy head, which gradually disappears, rich lacing, pleasant dark color, nose inviiting, but not floral, rather more hop than malt, and not very complex which is a disapointment. The mouth feel is wonderful.
