Not much at all to the aroma. Taste is a bit of caramel, light hoppiness. Just not a lot to this beer, it’s not bad by any means, but just forgettable. Bosco (65), Boca Raton, Florida, USA

It’s a hoppy but not all hoppy brew. Clear brown color with a small head. Watery-syrupy nuts and caramel with water-y sticky light hoppiness. Taste is similar with a light-medium bitterness at the end. Mouthfeel is again a mix of water-y and slick/sticky. Weird and very forgettable, as Lagunitas usually is but this is in another way. 22oz bomber, Maredsous thin, elongated goblet glass. rudolf (1789), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 23, 2008 Mucho thanks to Swoopjones. Rich ruby honey body, thin tan head. Nose is honey, cocoa, soy, buttery hops. Flavor is cocoa, light burnt malt, lots of caramel & a good amount of bitterness. Interesting cocoa nuttiness in the finish along with plenty of hops. I agree with Harry, the whole is better than it’s parts. MadIndian (997), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 27, 2008 22 oz. bottle - pours clear and dark amber; no head; pleasant fruity aromas from the bottle, but more mild from the glass; drinks clean and thin with not much going on flavor wise; pretty disappointing coming from laqunitas brianjames1 (322), Northridge, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 23, 2008 Not a bad brew but also not the best Lagunitas I have had, my favorite is still Kill Ugly Radio. This brew was very malty and one could almost immediately tell by the dark cooper color of the body, smooth but felt it was overwhelmed by malt and not enough hops.
