Pours light copper with a thick white head and a little lace. Lots of fruit and some hops in the aroma. Great hoppiness with a nice price tag.

Bought at Barley wine in Copenhagen. A wonderful nose full of over ripe pineapple, mango and grape. My guess is that the malt has overcome the hops due to shipping to Denmark. Sweet, sweet mouthfeel. Lots of fruit, wonderful to sip but maybe sweet to the nose than to the tongue. Medium bitter. Very good.

Bottle. Poured an golden orange with a bubbly white head that wa poured rigorously to achieve. Very grapefruity nose with pine and a nice sweetness. Flavour was pretty in your face, but it smelled better than tasted but still was quite nice. Citrusy/piney flavor that had a very bitter finish. Wasn’t that balanced but what do you expect for this category. Mouth was medium high for this style for me. Overall, really nice brew that I hope to have again soon.

12 oz. pours brownish yellowwith very little head. Not a lot on the nose some caramel, pine and grapefruit. Very malty, some pine but it’s not ripping the enamel from my teeth. Mouthfeel is thin for an Imp IPA and the finish is bitter but not long.

Had it many times. Love it. Still love how Lagunitas does NOT raise their prices in this epic game of charging more for beer!

clear copper white head med carbonation A: Citrusy, caramel a bit of bread in there as well. F: med body finish it bitter and medium long. O: Was expecting a bit more hoppy aroma on that one like a big giant punch.

Tried this beer at the Casanova Beer Cave Festival (2011), had a nice hop flavor.

Bottle @ home. Orange amber appearance with an orange tan head. Quite piney, light earthy hoppy nose over a fairly strong malty nose. Very hoppy- grapefruit, pine, green, organic- and sweet and fairly strong pale malty flavor. Big flavor but well done.
