COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Pourd from 12oz bottle, pours a clear copper with a thin white dinimishing head, aroma is of subtle pine and hops, I was actually hoping for a little more on the nose, the flavor has a nice mix of hops mixed in with the malt and a decent bitterness bite to it, nothing out of this world but a solid all around DIPA.

Pours a clear copper color with a white creamy head. Strong smell of piney citrus aroma. Strong flavorful hops, right down a hopheads alley. A slight piney hop taste with a smooth bite at the finish. Nice after taste. Very drinkable.

bottle; amber clear with small off-white head; aroma-pine and floral, some citrus, sweet malt; taste-mild sweetness and carbonation, very good bitterness without overdoing it. Very good double IPA, accessible to all

Reviewed from notes. Served in a tulip glass. Pours a nice orange color that is just ever-so-slightly darkened by a bit of bronze. Nose is strong citrus hops with loads of orange and grapefruit. A bit of rind. The taste is quite hoppy, but doesn’t hit quite the level of the nose. Nice bitter and resinous feel. Drinks quite well and is a solid DIPA. Bottle. Copper, gold color smells or fruit, hope and lemon zest. Taste is strong with a sticky syrupy presence. Really drinkable and good. Enjoyed this very much

Poured a clear, light copper color. Almost no head, not sure why. Bad bottling? Anyway, aroma was of grassy hops and malts. Taste was a medium bitterness. Medium body, slick texture. Almost no carbonation (see above). Will have to try another bottle sometime and see if carbonation is better.

a rather boring looking clear copper body, a nice white head that forms a great cap... balanced nose with some pineapple, caramel and grass hops, a touch sweet for a dipa... something off about the taste, really blah, front is chemical hops with an alcohol finish... really rough to drink, pass

12 ounce bottle into tulip. Pours slightly hazy orange-amber color with a huge 3 finger dense off white head with fantastic retention that reduces to a lacing cap. Some pretty good lacing on the glass as well. Aromas of grapefruit, orange, mango, and caramel; with some pine resin and light spices. Very nice and fairly strong aromas. Taste of strong grapefruit, orange, pine with some caramel. Very strong bitterness shows up on the finish and lingers with citrus and caramel flavors for a decent period after the finish. Has a very smooth medium-full body with medium carbonation. Alcohol is very well hidden, only a small warming after the finish noticed. Very well balanced with sweetness and bitterness as well. Overall a very tasty DIPA, would definitely like to have a fresher bottle of this some time.
