At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

(Bottle) Pours amber. Friuty aroma with oranges and apricots. Hops also brings black tea, light pine and something floral. A bit sweet. Hints of crushed tomatoes. Fruity and medium hoppy flavour with black tea, oranges, apricots and some toffee. Light spicy. Medium bitter. A bit to thin mouthfeel and body. Also a bit to sweet. Ok IPA, bad DIPA.

Pours a clear dark orange with a nice thick white head. Aroma is hoppy but mildly so, not as "in your face" as expected. Taste however is alot of piney grapefruit hop flavorl that we all know and love. This beer capitalizes even more on its already appealing aroma. This sort of reminds me of the flavor of Pliny the Younger or Dreadnaught but just not quite making the cut. Still an GREAT beer and wish I could get this bottled where I live, it would become one of my regulars.

The hops sting your tongue, then then quickly disappear without lingering. Light and refreshing. Near perfect for hops without that gross mouth resin feel afterwards.

22 oz. bottle. Poured a cloudy orange/gold color with a little white head. The aroma is very hoppy and hints of pine. Nice lacing on this one with taste that is sweet with a moderate dry finish. A very balenced IPA.

Ppurs a good looking orangish gold hue with a light lacy head. Nose of fresh hops, and tastes like it too. Citrusy, crisp clean finish. An excellent IPA.

Nice copper-coloured beer with lingering head. Hoppy, nearly oily aroma with nice malt backbone. The flavour is of sweet malt and citrusy, flowery hops. Moderately bitter and not that dry. A fine, elegant and well-made ipa. Balanced and just very ipaish.

Pine and citrus hop flavors with a solid presence of sweet malt, I thought this had a surprisingly complex flavor. Enjoyable.
