3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
It has a nice smooth somewhat creamy mouthfeel and the flavor accentuates towards floral bouquet with some piney resin qualities. In the aftertaste, there is an odd orange-like tone bursting out along with the alcohol content which seems hidden at first. It seems to pair well with pizza. It seems a bit unbalanced to appreciate the bitterness, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear, copper color with an off-white, average-sized, creamy head; a small, frothy, persistant layer remains with lots of tight lacing. Nose is simple but substantial with pink grapefruit and spicy resins and a bit of floral; malts are faint but keeping the nose from being all hops with bready notes and light caramel. Flavor is the nose would have suggested; pink grapefruit and pine resins remain dominant with a balancing malt base of caramels and bread tones. Palate is slightly sticky, somewhat creamy, moderately carbonated, and medium in body witha minimal alcohol presence. Finishes with the citrus notes remaining and floral and herbal bitterness notes exposing the more the moderate bitterness. Fairly simple but well put together IIPA. Nice balance of malt background, hop bitterness, and hop flavors. Nothing earth-shattering, but quite enjoyable.

This beer is fuckin awesome. Very floral and "dank" when I first smelled it(dank means "marijuana like" for all you squares who are too fuckin old to know any cool shit). Hoppy and botanical taste with not too much of the lemon and grapefruit that certain IPAs possess. I tend to think that too much citrus is fucking sickening at times...I mean seriously, if you want citrus go buy your self a faggoty 6-pack of Corona Light and stick a half shriveled lime in it...cause after all that is what living is all about...right? Corona Light...itís a way of life...if you are a fuckin yuppie.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a good IPA, piny taste. Was definitley lacking in aroma when compared with some other IPAs. Very citrusy. Was cloudy in appearance.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUL 30, 2007 Nice orange smell, but very faint. Thin to no head. Copper color and clear. Very flowery flavor with plenty of hoppy bite. It falls down on palate: for one thing its a bit sticky, like even noticeably on your lips; another problem is a weird lavender-like smoothness that is not pleasant. Iíve noticed the latter charachteristic in a few brews (Redhook Long Hammer comes to mind as does Deschutes Inversion). I donít understand the cause (or if itís by design). Maybe Iím not describing it correctly; certainly a smooth feeling can be pleasant but this type of smooth is lavenderish and fuzzy. (For pleasant smooth, see Stone Ruination)

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Has a beautiful citrus hop bouquet, which is almost immediately smoothed over with some sweet malty notes. Almost seems more of an ASA than IIPA, but whatever you call it, itís delicious. Immensely drinkable.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz bottle. Massive hop blast. Alcohol unnoticeable. For a mid-priced IIPA/DIPA, definitely worth it. Very warming to the gullet.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUN 12, 2008 Bomber in Atlanta, cold in a flute. AP26/07
App.: Medium-deep amber, clear, decent off-white head.
Aroma: Typical American IPA Ė lots of C-hops, grapefruit peppery and resinous, backed by caramel, toffee and treacle malts.
Palate: Medium body and lively carbonation.
Flav.: Peppery, resinous and citrus hops, much like the nose; some malt sweetness, bracingly bitter but in a good way.
Might lean a little too much towards hops, but I can accept that..
Re-rated June 12/08.
1 pint 6 fluid oz bottle from Sherbrooke Liquor, served cold ina wine glass.
App.: Slightly hazy, orange-amber, small off-white head with a yellow-green hue.
Aroma: Oh-so-familiar brown sugar, rye bread crust and grapefruit-pine hops, oranges and peaches/apricots, peppery.
Palate: Slightly syrupy, medium+ body, moderate but soft carbonation.
Flav.: much like the nose Ė rye bread smothered in Seville orange marmalade, some raisins, apricots and peaches, other vague fruitiness; somewhat sweet and quite bitter; the bitterness sticks around for a bit and there is a slightly fruity and peppery finish.
Quite true to the style for American IPA. Enjoyable. Same rating.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sunset orange amber with a medium but heavy head. Caramel malts and orange hoppyness a bit of hay and earth. The palate is resiny and just a tad light. Finishes with pines and oranges.
