COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Golden yellow with a citrusy-piney aroma. Bitter upfront with a floral taste, and some sweetness in the finish.

something special for my 400th. A bomber of this sought after impy IPA. Poured a murkey orange-gold with a creamy off white cap. Moderately carbonated. Aromas of sweet bread and grapefruit. Lots of chewy malts in this like sticky sweet cookie dough meets pine-citrus hopping in near balance...like the ad sez: " a raging mouthful of malt and hops". The finish is slow and erodes into not quite the promised enamel melting bittering but was a pleasant bittering with an astringent- metalic aftertaste. This what Liberaty ale on steroids would taste like....I lile the well balanced hop and malt wallop of this big APA and I’ll buy it often.

Very slightly hazy amber pour. Big small beaded off white lasting head. Chocolate, vanilla, pine, leathery tobacco nose. Uncrazilly hopped. Very toasty and breadlike. Sweet but not syruppy. Clean and lots of bright peach, caramel and minerally. Alcohol is more pronounced than expected. Very floral and the sweetness comes out as it warms.

light amber color with medium sized white head. Aroma is dry, faintly hoppy, slightly metallic, notes of caramel and oak. Flavor is malty, dry, slightly bitter in the finish. Overall it is good, but not quite great.

Bottle at Volo. Golden-amber colour with a small but persistant head. Aroma of rich, syrupy hops, with a woody/grassy backnote. Flavour is fresh & hoppy, with a bit of caramel sweetness, and a citric finish. Hides the alcohol very well, making it a dangerous one, especially when you’re drinking a whole bomber bottle by yourself...

Pours a dark copper with an off white creamy head that sticks around. Smells of citrus and grass. Tastes of brown sugar and caramel. Not as hoppy as I’d lik out of a IIPA but still nice. Warming alcohol finish.

Bottle: Courtesy of beerguy101. Citrusy (orange) and hoppy aroma but not as strong as most IIPA’s. Pours a mostly transparent orange with a touch of haze. Very small white head that is just barely a thin layer for a head. Flavor is very citrusy, but more actual citrus than citrus hoppy. Citrus hops come in the finish, but not as strong as I expect from an IIPA.

Fresh, clean aroma, sweet malty, woody, oil scented nose. Smallish but nice creamy top, snowy amber. Strong high hoppy front, full-bodied ale but still you were able notice potent alcohol presence .As time goes by this trace gets more and more pronounced. More than I wished for.

Big bottle. Dark hazy orange ale, no head, little lace. Another classic DIPA - powerful hops, lighter on the malt than some. Kinda close to Stoudt’s DIPA.
