3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sunset orange amber with a medium but heavy head. Caramel malts and orange hoppyness a bit of hay and earth. The palate is resiny and just a tad light. Finishes with pines and oranges.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap in the Horse & Plow
Pours a blazing orange with a thick, creamy white head. Huge citrus hops on the nose with grapefruit and pine. Great bitterness with the usual West Coast IPA charactoristics. Finishes with a mild alcohol burn. For such a big beer, itís very light and crisp. So heavy on the hops, maybe a one or two maximum for Maximus.

Courtesy of After4ever - thank you Tom! The color is very beautiful warm amber and the head is huge and creamy. The aroma is alluring with itís hoppy notes of pine and resin. The flavour has a wonderful malty caramel foundation with a nice smooth, grassy and piny bitterness and notes of citrus (mostly orange). Itís really nice! 2052

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a medium-to-dark amber with a white head. Light aroma of floral hops with a hint of penicillin. In the mouth, it has spiky carbonation and medium body. Taste was relatively dry, with solid floral hops giving away to moderate bitterness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A decent IPA, but not among the best. Perfume like some what floral aroma, medium bodied palate, but the taste was not as bitter as I expect from an Imperial IPA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This is pretty hoppy. Maybe too much of a good thing. The experience of a 22ozer was a little bit much for one person.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle. Poured a clear orange color. Head was thick, white, and reduced to a thin film. There was some decent lace on the glass at the end. Aroma was of light flowery hops. Medium bodied and slightly sweet on the tongue. Citrusy hop dominated flavor, but not over the top. There was also a touch of biscuity malt. Mild hop bitterness at the end. Decent.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fantastic aroma, and very indicative of a west coast style hopping. Caramel sweet malt, and nice PNW hops make this a good beer. Nothing I would consider overwhelmingly aggro, but a good, dryish DIPA.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Golden brown pour with a one finger, frothy head. Aromas are slightly sweet with a little bit of a pineapple hops character. Body is pretty heavy on malt for an IPA but the hops comes through nicely in the finish. Kind of a kinder/gentler IPA, so to speak. Caramel malt sweetness is lovely, as is the pine finish. Mouthfeel is slick and kind of heavy. In spite of decided lack of a strong and bitter hops blast Iím enjoying this quite a bit. Very well balanced.
