At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Bomber. Hazy light orange color. Perfect crisp, hop aroma. This is an intense hop beer. The alcohol is hard to detect, especially for a beer with a slightly higher percentage than many beers.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2007 22oz bottle. Pours hazy light orange. Wonderfully pungent, fresh hoppy aroma with a flavor to match. Possibly the most refreshing, thirst-quenching beer I’ve ever tasted. Very clean and crisp. The hops reign supreme here, and mighty tasty they are! Citrus flavors add to the surprisingly light-bodied, almost briskness of this beer. Dense, tight, wispy lacing that just coats the glass. 7.5% alcohol is virtually undetectable. This beer strikes me as kind of simple for a 2IPA, but in a refreshingly straight-forward, uncluttered, GOOD way. This is a beer that knows what it wants to be and succeeds with clarity of purpose. I can’t wait ’til summer to have this to cool down and chill out with. Excellent!

THis hazy orange ale poured with a decent off-white head. There is a nice blend of malt and hops, resulting in a pleasant balanced flavor that is initially slightly sweet, then a slightly bitter. There are noticeable citrus and pine characteristics. Overall, a pretty good quaff.

22oz bottle. Orangein color. Citrus aroma. Kinda watery for a DIPA. More like an IPA Taste of cascade hops. Not very impressed.

pours a dark orange with a one finger off white, light tan head. a little cloudy as well. aroma is orange peel hops with a little sweet malt. flavor is orange peel hops with a little sweet malt and an oily feel in the mouth. medium body with descent lacing. little bread aroma as it warms and also in the flavor. kind of an in between of an ipa and 2ipa, but definetly good, not the best i have had of course, but definetly for hop heads like myself. theres a little carbonation and has a little spicey bite at the end.

Bottle sampled from the Mad Indian collection, cheers bro. Pours with an orange copperish beautiful color, with a large off white head. Aroma of hops, pine, and sweet malts. The flavor is well blended, sweet, bitter, citrus, and slight trace of caramel. Decent body, alcohol is masked well. Good brew.

Worthy Bomber. Super, strong citrus and hops nose, sweet and orangey. Clear orange pour with a foamy beige head. Sticky and bitter, loads of hops and piney resin. Lots of citrus with a touch of biscuit. Fullish mf, dry and resinous hoppy aftertaste, warms long into the night. Nice!

Thanks to Ramenen. Bottle: True IPA but a bit one dimensional, alcohol level well hidden. Nice specimen but not best in its class.

Tried it after Goose Island Double IPA. Felt a bit flat, and too bitter at the end. Lacked more flavors, you could only taste the hops.

Bottled. Shared with Stegosaurus. Orange/copper pour with nice white head. Hop and pine aromoa instantly punch you in the face. The first milli second of taste is strong over bearing hops but it instantly mellows out to a more enjoyable balance. Body was a little thin but I enjoyed this brew alot.
