4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap. Black Swan, Leeds. Clear amber colour. Thin, tight, lasting, white head. Big, thick, chewy malts. Sweet, grainy and fruity. Big, chewy orange hop bolted on to that. Some spice, along the lines of cinammon or fresh ginger. Taste is soft, sugary sweet. Turns juicy, rich, zesty bitter. Full, smooth, easy drinking mouthfeel. Finishes relatively short bitter, with a spicy, sweet close. Very nice.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2015 Bottled 07/15/15. Pours very beautiful clear golden, with a white head. Aroma is dank hops (mostly that), sweet malts, then tangerine, pineapple, a tropical fruit note (mango? guava?). Flavor is hoppy and sweet up front, interplay between the two is beautiful, light citrus and tropical fruit notes, honey, dankness again. Medium-soft mouthfeel. Really nice. I like this one quite a bit.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a clear golden orange with a big frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, grapefruit and resin. Taste is pine, grapefruit, citrus rinds and a huge sweet malty two row bill that’s balanced by the bitter hops and a semi dry finish. Super smooth and easy to drink for its high abv.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
355 ml. bottle from Systembolaget, poured in to a Snifter. Clear, amber colour with a golden tint. Dense, off-white head. Fruity aroma with spruce, citrus, resin and caramel malts. Taste is bitter. Medium to full body with a oily texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with citrus fruits, pines and caramel malts. Rather straightforward IIPA without any surprises. Enjoyable, trough.

I just haven’t cared for IPAs for a while. Too hoppy. If you like that style, you’ll enjoy this.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a clear copper dark gold color with huge creamy head. Aroma is citrus hops and spice and a bread malt note. Taste following the aroma well. The flavors are strong and solid. This is one amazing beer leaving solid malt rings all the way down to the bottom of my glass!! And a great price! Its safe to say its the best bang for the buck.
