Commercial Description:
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Pours a copper color with a white head. Aroma is malty, crystal malts, with lots of citrus hops. Flavor is malty, caramel, citrus, and a nice juicy citrus hop finish.

Poured a clear, dark orange/copper with a tall creamy light tan head. There were some carbonation bubbles rising up in the glass. There was a strong grapefruit aroma and later a little bit of a pine scent as well. The beer retained the head for a good while and it left nice lacing. There was an excellent grapefruit flavor and a good hops bite right from the first sip. A nice background sweetness balanced the hops. The finish was a nice bitter hops with some citrus flavor lingering on. This was very refreshing to drink. Good bit of hops, but not overpowering. Excellent!

22oz - Orange liquid under off white head, certainly looks the part. Orange peel nose. Swwet malt immediately offset by hops. Nice interplay, different in a way from most DIPAs. Good not great

It poured a clear golden liquid with a medium sized white foam that left very little lacing. It had a medium heavy smell of hops, fruits, caramell and bread. It tasted mostly of fruity and flowery hops and just a bit of grassy hops. Also sweet of butter scotch and caramell. It was smooth with a medium-full thickness and tickled the top of my mouth. Also had an odd kind of funky taste, not sure what that was.

Pours a nice golden color with not much head. Aroma is of hops, some honey and grass. Taste is pretty smooth for the hoppyness with good complexity. Has big hop flavor, but without being overly abrasive. I was a little surprised at how good it is.

Thanks, Florian’s in Truckee, California! Shiny copper with a nice off-white head. Aroma is sharp, sweet grapefruit. Big-time caramel malt going on here, which keeps this from being the typical hop-bomb. Nicely balanced, just a bit sweet. Pretty strong carbonation in this one, somewhat masks the 7.5% ABV.

Bottle from the Gingerman in Fort Worth. Sweet smell, lots of hops, really nice.
