COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

bottle. Amber with one finger head. Kicked up version of the standard IPA. A bit of alcohol warmth, but very tasty.

The aroma is decidedly pine and grapefruit, with hints of sweet malt. Copper pour, nice lacing left, with a rim of head around the circumference of the glass. Taste is grapefruit, pine, and some nice bitterness. Good DIPA.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a dark amber/copper colored body with a nice two finger white foamy head that quickly dies and leaves some speckled spider web lacing that fully clings. The smell has a rich considerable amounts of malty goodness with a wonderful allocation of citrus and piney hops embedded within. The taste was bittersweet all the way through, no if’s, and’s, or but’s about it, this beauty shows a nice complexity of the piney/citrusy goodness wonderfully combined with the malts. I’m not getting any aftertaste whatsoever, but there is a dry finish. On the palate, it sat about a medium to almost heavy (perhaps) more likely closer to medium, semi-sessionable, carbonation is good for the style and very good to me as there’s a nice sharpness, but still shows a decent smoothness. Overall, gee, what a great DIPA, wishing I would have had this fresh, I’ll be sure to look for this Summer when it comes out as I would definitely have this one again especially if it held out for this long.

Excellent sweet citrus smell followed by a sweet hoppy DIPA taste. This is a fantastic Imperial. I’ve had tons of this stuff and never had a bad one either.

A- Pours an clear orange hue with a nice, big 2 finger off white head that leaves a ton of lacing. S- Smell is predominately floral, piney hops and a bit of indistinct lighter fruit notes. T- Taste is much sweeter than I was expecting, peach, caramel, floral character followed by a very balanced hop bitterness. M- Medium body and carbonation. D- This was an extremely drinkable ipa and for the price it’s hard to beat. Not a huge DIPA and very balanced.

Grym öl! Kopparfärgad, fräsch. Aromatisk, inte särskilt besk. Små inslag av citrus och karamell!

Pours a hazy light amber color with particulate matter swirling about. A thick, nearly white head with a lot lacing sits atop the beer. Strong aroma of orange and grapefruit with pine in the background. Flavor is initially sweeter than expected with bubblegum and candied fruit leading the way for the tart and tangy hops to kick in. Finish is strong, bitter, and dry with more grapefruit and citrus on the end. Overall a Good balance of malt and hops with a more complex flavor than I expected. It's not just a hops bomb. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Wonderful example of an IPA. Full of fruity and citrus hops. Full of freshness. Full of being full and deep. Well balanced, easy to drink and still real class.

12oz bottle from Brewmaster’s in Wilson. Orange hue, hazy clarity with mostly diminishing white head. Spotty lacing. Moderate citrus hop, some sweet fruit, floral aroma on the nose. Moderate bitter grapefruit taste up front with a floral finish. As it warmsthe alcohol starts to come out more.

Bottle from trade with Cunningham - many thanks! The beer pours out in a light hazy amber colour with steady head and medium to crisp body. Wonderful aroma of fresh hops and herbs. Taste of aromatic hops, herbs, spruce, oak, spices and citrus. Very fresh and quaffable finish. Enjoyed it a lot - great IPA.
