3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 banbeernot (23) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 10, 2012
In a word, Bold.
Upon the first sip, you are immediately impressed by the attack of malt and hop. This beer pours amber copper with little head. That should already give you a hint of what’s coming. The finish is not as impressive but overall, this is a great beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Sikash (28) - North Carolina, USA - MAY 8, 2012
Poured form a 12 oz. bottle into a tulip glass. Pours a hazy copper color with a light tan head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma is of light malt, caramel, grape, and citrus/pine. Taste is sweet, malty, with a hint of citrus, and an undertone of bitterness. The bitterness becomes apparent with alcohol on the backend. Decent mouthfeel with a light carbonation. Overall a good beer but not very reminiscent of the D-IPA style.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 uncben87 (34) - Georgia, USA - MAY 4, 2012
From bottle to tulip. Pours a hazy amber with a two finger beige head. Smells of bread, caramel, and hops but also slightly sour. Tastes much of the same with the hops more predominant but the sour sweet malts coming through. MF is lighter with soft carbonation. Overall this is a decent DIPA that is definitely worth a try.

Firkin at Blind Tiger. Hazy orange with a small white head. Sugary, malty, light grapefruit and pine nose. Flavor is equally not hoppy. Some bitterness and more sweetness but not much actual flavor. Typical of this brewery.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 batneil (41) - - APR 22, 2012
Very pale in colour, light fizz. A little lacking on the hop front, but nonetheless a pretty tasty IPA. Could do with a slightly bolder flavour perhaps.
