3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 erickomosa (68) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 9, 2011
Oily clean pour. Pine resin and orange peel aroma. Caramel backing. Tastes like pine needles, grass. Heavy-medium body. Chewy and sticky. A cold IPA, lacking significant floral or spice character. Strictly summer.

This is by far the best IPA I have ever tasted. Fruity aroma and fruity taste which compliments this IPA and makes it its own.
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 AlephNull3 (111) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 2, 2011
Pours a beautiful golden hue with a almost non existant head. Aroma is sweet hits the nose with a berry like smell. Taste is out of this world with a smooth blend of citrus flavor and hoppy a very very small hint of alchohol. This is a great beer, goes on my highly recommended list for IPA lovers. Hard to beat.
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 WildTurkey (49) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 1, 2011
Burnt orange / coppery color. Very clear with some light carbonation. Nice aroma. Mostly all hops here. Right up front I got some citrusy Grapefruit and fresh Pear & Apricot Tart hoppiness.Malts recede to the hop character. Medium to fuller body. Very enjoyable.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2011 Pours a mostly clear amber with sizable head. Very aromatic - citrus hops - grapefruit, orange - very nice. Very flavorful, and like many IIPAs - very dry and bitter at the end. Quite enjoyable - would gladly purchase as often as I can - cheers!
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 BlackIPA (201) - Rochester, New York, USA - DEC 27, 2010
Lemons and citrus in the nose. Hoppy, floral aroma. Pours a deep golden color. Not as bitter as I expected. I wouldn’t go as far as to call this a double IPA. Maybe like a 1.5x IPA. Good session beer. Yeah, I said it. Sessionable. A 6 pack of this stuff goes down smooth and will set you straight. Good beer.

A fine IPA tasting at Uncle Steve’s abode, with Brian the Beer Pimp, the Doctor of Beerology, Drbayern, the notorious Celticbrew, and Bobster.
Poured yellow with a nice creamy head, sweet floral aroma. Nice esy hop taste, with a note of sweet blossomy flavor. Nice bittering on the aftertaste.
