| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Rich, brassy pour with a full foam cap and lacing. This beer has a powerfully appealing aroma of fir trees, flowers, honey, and orange - but that is the best thing about it. The flavor is mostly resiny hops that get a little harsh in the finish. This is a rugged IPA that is potent and penetrating. In my opinion, it could use a little more balance, some more sweetness and smoothing - but it is still good. matt7215 (956), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Aug 23, 2008 Poured clear orange with a two finger head and very good lacing. Strong citrus hops aromas that featured grape and grapefruit as well as some pine. Taste followed suit, with a bit of orange and caramel thrown in. Well carbonated, thick and full bodied, with a strong grapefruit aftertaste that didn’t thrill me. Otherwise, an excellent beer.
