Commercial Description:
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet and hoppy aroma with floral and pine. Flavor has a very nice grassy and floral hop profile with not quite enough malt. Nice bitter finish.

An excellent double IPA. Has the traditional lagunitas taste and is very flavorful. Not comparable back to back with the avery maharaja but it was very good.

12oz bottle - 8.3% alc. Maximus. The name says it all. So much malt combined with even more hops. In the end, it creates a slightly thick and sticky, but amazingly enjoyable DIPA. Going down, the malt initially win the battle until, shortly thereafter, the hops perform a covert sneak-attack on the palate. This beer is definitely one to check out. I heard the Maximus in the bomber is not as good, if it wasn’t for the case of 12ozers in my basement, I’d like to pick one up for comparison. Overall: WOW! I don’t care if its 11 in the morning, I can’t wait!

22 oz bottle. Aroma of grapefruit and a little malt. Sweet malty flavor at the beginning, which yields to a grapefruity hoppy bittness with some grassy notes. I liked the flavor balance and complexity Burnt orange color with thin, yet persistant head. Decent lacing on the glass. Nice, unique brew that proves you don’t have to hit people over the head with a bunch of hops to make an enjoyable IPA.

Bottle. Dark copper color with a slight head. Strong hop aroma. Thick to the palate. Flavor is a very hoppy start mildly bitter middle and a sweet finish.
