COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Well balanced with the hops and malts. Impressive but not quite my favorite imperial IPA.

Bottle. Poured a very nice amber color with a smaller white head, left some lacing on the glass. Aroma was caramel, citrus, and spruce. Malty backbone with a hop aftertaste. More well balanced IPA. Good though.

Bottle at Wachi. Big, fruity, earthy aroma with caramel and great hops. Bright, shiny, amber color. Sweet caramel flavor, very fruity with cherry, plus nice grass and citrus hops. Strong bitterness. Rather high carbonation. A bit too sweet, though bitterness in the finish balances well. A pedestrian, but very well done IPA.

Bottle. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma has kumquat, peach, caramel, a little cheese. Taste has caramel, stone fruits, bread and again a little cheese. Not that much bitterness apparent at the rather muddled finish. A nice enough fruity ale, but needed either more finishing bitterness or aromatics. I was expecting that this would be what I liked about the Hop Stoopid and the normal IPA, but it’s lesser than either despite the more charming malt side. Maybe the aromatic hops didn’t make the journey. A tad disappointing.

Clear lite amber with 1 finger off-white head. leaves nice sparse lacing. Smell is floral sweet hops Hops, fruit and citrus. Taste is Hops up front, mild fruit and citrus sweet notes and nice mildly creamy malts. Hits your tongue with hop bite and dryness, moderate zesty carbonation, feels clean and refreshing. A good brew...Hops up front but not overdone, a pretty nice balance. I’d buy again, and again!

355 ml bottle. From København, Denmark.
Hazy amber colour with small white head. Fruity and floral hoppy aroma with some caramel notes. Flavour is tropical fruity hoppy with bitterness but not that extensive. Maltiness and citrus in this delicious and highly drinkable beer.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2010. Copper color. Strong hop aroma and flavor with mango, lemon and toffee. Strong yet smooth bitterness. Good smooth and firm IPA.
