4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 evergreen0199 (872) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2010
Bottle bought at GBBF 2010. A beautiful orange coloured pour with a medium white head. Wonderful hoppy aroma that I could inhale forever. A superb balance of hops, malt and sweetness. This is so damn drinkable. If I could invent a perfect DIPA this is how it would taste. A beautifully balanced and quality DIPA, if only I could get a 6 pack in my local Tescos here in the UK. Bloody marvellous!

Pours orange amber. Aroma is florals, citrus, pine and some cereal. Taste is bitter with a sweet and resiny finish. Very interesting IPA with the malts coming through more than usual.

Figured this must have been a double IPA when I got a whiff. Nice and malty sweet with the hops in the background. Very rich and full bodied mouth feel with a very sweet malty start followed by a nice hop balance. Finish was dry and refreshing despite the alcohol content.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ttutony (509) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 30, 2010
Transparent copper in the glass. Earthy hop aromas. Strong hops on a caramel malt background. Quite pleasant.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jarow (237) - Massachusetts, USA - JUL 27, 2010
Bottle. Pours a clear golden orange with a white head. Nose is lots of piney hops, some citrus, sweet caramel malts. Taste begins and finishes with the hops, again pine dominating, some citrus. Fairly well-balanced with the malts. Some sweetness up front, more bitter towards the finish. Nice dry, bitter hoppy finish. Pretty good IPA overall.

22 oz bottle at Bar Volo in Toronto (6/07). Poured clear light orange with a white foamy head. Aroma is my favorite in this, like putting your head in a hopsack, with pine being predominant. A little bit of bitterness at the end, but not what I would really expect of an imperial, but very nice.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 phaleslu (3182) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 22, 2010
12 oz. bottle from Blueberry Hill. Pours an orange-amber color with a small off-white head. Notes of piney hops, orange citrus, resinous pine tree sap, pineapple, sweet malts, and sugar. Medium-bodied, with a sticky mouthfeel and active carbonation. A little too sweet for my liking but a nice, piney DIPA.
