Aroma is really lovely citrus hoppy and hay. Flavor is sweet warming hoppy, lots of hops but no extreme impression. Very nice. DrHomolka (728), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Pours a clear honey golden color with a nice compact, creamy white head and good lacing. Aroma is earthy, pungent hops. A bit spicy with a strong malt background. Taste is balanced with a vanilla like malt presence and bitter hops. Don’t know how old this is but it doesn’t taste super fresh. Still it’s drinking quite nicely and is a nice, drinkable, balanced example of the style if not a hop bomb that I prefer. Enjoyit (1708), Vadum, Denmark

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 21, 2007 Pine and a bit of citrus in the aroma. Hops that smack you in the face. This brewery does no wrong for me. Not available in Missouri, but supposedly available just over the Illinois border. Excellent double IPA without the heavy malts that many have. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 20, 2007 Dense one finger beige head over an unclear copper colored body. Moderate (for the style) fruity and grassy hop aroma. Whiffs of caramel and earth. Sweetish malts and a fair amount of bittering hops in the flavor. Clean mouthfeel. Medium body. Long bitterness in the finish. Nice. (Bottle @ RBNAG’07) Bier brauen (213), Bremerton, Washington, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 18, 2007 Pours a hazy amber colour with a large rocky-frothy off white head. Aroma is fruity, with lots of hops. Initial taste is soft fruity and sweet malts. Mouthfeel is a soft carbonation with a bitter hop that coats the entire palate. Head retention is good and the lacing the glass looks absolutely excellent, completely slapped and pasted over. Long, good finish. Wonderful! fonefan (11099), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 8, 2007 Pillowy whitehead that stands the test of time. Lovely lace and a big floral hop aroma. In a nutshell a classic California hoppy IPA that is very resinous. The palate is dry and bitter with tropical fruit and orange scented hops. The finish is long and hoppy with a dash of malt to keep this beer honest.
