Commercial Description:
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Pours a nice light amber color. Tastes very smooth and good with a different bitter after taste.

Wow! This is one smooth Double IPA. Hoppiness and clean finish is unique and refreshing. My Local keg supplier is currently unable to get kegs of Ruination. I have only tasted in bottles and can’t wait to taste it on tap.

Bottle from Corral Liquors in Granite City, IL. Pours a clear orange with a creamy, off-white head. Sweet toasty malts and both spicy and citric hops with a light alcohol note in the background. Medium-bodied and slick, it is moderately carbonated and finishes bitter and dry. The flavor is of sweet caramel and citrus upon hitting the tongue, dry and quite bitter at the swallow. Light alcohol presents itself upon exhale and the aftertaste is a long, lingering, resiny, hop bitterness that squeezes the back of your tongue. This one is a hop bomb, and while I love bitter/hoppy beers, I was left wanting more from the malts to help balance things out.

22oz. bottle poured into a glass with a tapered stem and large bowl. This glass makes this beer look really nice, very amber in the stem but a beautiful reddish-orange in the bowl. Very little head but quite a bit of nice lacing. Strong grapefruit flavor with a good amount of hops. Sweet. Nice mouthfeel. Good bang-for-your buck with this brew. Not the first time I’ve bought it and certainly won’t be the last.

Nice to see this one in six packs now. Great aroma. Along with Victory Hop Wallop, this is one of the best DIPA aromas I’ve smelled from the bottle. Smells like lots of Centennial hops to me. Very light, golden color. Great SRM for a DIPA. A slight bit more heavy in the mouthfeel than I would want for a full pint. Just a little more attenuation would make this closer to perfect. good 8oz pour of this is excellent. A very nice brew.

[Bottle, thanks Marsiblursi] Pours reddish-amber with a small white head. Somewhat fruity, and hoppy taste. Taste is citrusy with strong hops. Pretty average.

Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a medium white head. Good lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine, with a little caramel to it. Flavor is citrus with a strong bitter finish. A pretty good double IPA, but nothing I need to go out of my way to get.

Looks like most ipa’s. Heavy ipa taste at first followed by a remarkably neat finish. went well with parmesan cracker bread.
