COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Tasty looking amber pour with a creamy tan head that lasts and laces nicely. Aroma of caramel malt, pine sap and grapefruit rind. Big hoppy flavor, lots of citrus and pine, and a smooth malt balance. Thick and sticky on the palate, with a long bitter finish. Yummy!

Bottle (65 cl) from Ölbutikken, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear amber with medium off-white head. A bit sugary malt aroma with citrus and pine hops. Slick mouthfeel. A bit sweetish with a nice hop bite. Quite good.

Pours out a nice copper color with a decent white head. aroma is grassy, citrusy and very hoppy. Flavor was big on hops and rather sticky. I certainly enjoyed this one and am glad to see these beers in NC

Pours a deep orange/copper with a big white head. Aroma of citris and pine. Taste is resiny hops and big bitterness throughout with a touch of malt. The bitterness is a bit harsh in the aftertaste.

Rich, brassy pour with a full foam cap and lacing. This beer has a powerfully appealing aroma of fir trees, flowers, honey, and orange - but that is the best thing about it. The flavor is mostly resiny hops that get a little harsh in the finish. This is a rugged IPA that is potent and penetrating. In my opinion, it could use a little more balance, some more sweetness and smoothing - but it is still good.

12 oz bottle fro premier gourmet. pours clear orange with a small off white head. aromas are big sticky caramel malts. very deep and sweet with almost no hops. the same huge malts dominate the flavour. the hops come in for a long bitter finish. chewy mouthfeel and very big flavour. more of an american barleywine. id love to try a superfresh sample.

Poured clear orange with a two finger head and very good lacing. Strong citrus hops aromas that featured grape and grapefruit as well as some pine. Taste followed suit, with a bit of orange and caramel thrown in. Well carbonated, thick and full bodied, with a strong grapefruit aftertaste that didn’t thrill me. Otherwise, an excellent beer.

From a 22 oz bottle. Orange-brown pour with a one inch cream-colored head. Strong citrus aroma. Thick, slightly sweet body with a bitter, acidic aftertaste. A Decent effort.
