Commercial Description:
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

A very good beer and a good value as well for a 1.5 IPA. Very full of floral hops on the nose, the pour was clear amber. I was very impressed over the amount of hops that came through the nice amount of malt in the body. A very nicely hopped beer in the citrus realm. I would not put this in the same league as Dreadnaught or 90 Min. or some of the other legends, but this beer was nice, very easy in consumption.

Clear orange. Hoppy aroma but well balanced. Lots of sweet hops with another style added for depth. Ooo lots of edge of the tongue bitterness that fades into a solid finish. Lovely

Bottle. orange clear pour with a medium head. clean but surprisingly mild hop aroma for a self proclaimed imperial IPA. Still, pretty solid.

Bottle. A nice clear light copper color pour with a big foamy off white head, some soft carbonation, loads of sticky lace left on the glass. Aroma of sweet tangerine with soft piny notes. Flavor is nice , full body, malty sweet ,with some nice orange, and citrus flavors , slightly floral and spicy pretty strait forward. A slightly oily texture but not in a bad way, a long slightly bitter hop aftertaste, very drinkable.

BOTTLE: I love this beer - pours orange with a white head, tons of floral hop, malt, and caramel on the nose, more of the same on taste. Creamy mouthfeel, almost of a syrupy, wine-like taste. Very bold flavor, excellent!

"I must say at the start of this review I am not a fan of this brewery don’t know why I’m just not. Beer pours a hazy dark brown with only a small covering of bubbles coating the surface that disappeared to a small bubble ring around the edge of the glass, lots of columns of carbonation are making their way to the top of my glass though, this brew looks pretty standard. Aroma is pretty simple grapefruit hops, with a touch of malt, its crisp, clean and smells somehow cold, it’s not too bad. Taste is more than acceptable grape fruit hops, very sweet with a floral aspect, and is good and malty I’m very surprised in fact this seems to be high quality for Lagunitas. Strange every third sip or so I swear I’m tasting some melon, why? This IIPA seems pretty slandered nothing really stands out about it, but it of high quality and had desant enjoyment. Done while playing cards with beercronic and his wife."
