COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Aroma - Floral hops Appearance - Clear medium amber, very light head Taste - Medium malt and hops. Smooth but not light Palate - Medium body; slight bitter finish Overall - Not quite as smooth and as malty as most Imperial IPAs, but smoother and lighter than a typical IPA. Could get into trouble with this one...

West Coast IPA with firm, yellowish white head and warm golden amber colour. Delightfully complex and powerful hops in the nose, some orange, pine resin, tomato, pepper, grass; sweet malty and fruity onset rapidly overpowered by a very long, agressive, spicy, oily, pine needle- and citrus-like hoppiness drying mouth and throat. I can’t get enough of this type of beers and this is one of the best I had so far.

Pours amber color, with a touch of orange and a light haze. 2-finger white head. Aroma is all hops, with both pine and citrus notes. Medium body, mildly oily with a brief finish. Flavor is, again, mostly hops. A mix of pine and citrus notes, but there is a light note of caramel underneath that lingers in the finish.

Hell orangegelbes Bier mit schöner stabilen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig fruchtig, kräftig malzig, Grapefruit. Geschmack trocken fruchtig, hopfig, reife Früchte, bitter, etwas Karamell.

Spicy, dry grapefruit aroma. Deep, resinous flavor, with grapefruit and a warm frutiness. Very beautiful.

Ummm a tad astringent on the palate. This was a way to reach the last sixteen characters

Bomber shared pours a bright golden orange with white head and nice lacing. Aroma of huge citrus, apricots, mangos and possibly orange. The flavor is of the amped up version of their ipa. Damn tasty. Medium malt and plenty of hops.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2014. It pours orange with a small white head. The nose is orange chewits, candy, boozy, apricot, peachy, dried mango and five alive fruit juice. The taste is bitter, orange, apricot, chewits, peppery, grapefruit, sticky, booze, leather, some astringency, resin with a warming, citrussy finish. Medium+ body, low carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Rich, fruity and boozy. Pretty punchy. Would have been better on keg though...

Ah yes, liquid gold! Nice job Lagunitas. Maximus is a nice walk down dry citrus and spruce avenue. Although hoppy, this is offset by a considerable caramel and perhaps even nutty backbone. Serving: multi-12oz bottle experience.

No alcohol taste which is impressive. Fruity but not citrusy. Very good bitterness...
