COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Bottle from Delucci’s Market in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is fruity, citrus peels, sweet pine, mild wet earthiness. Taste is fresh marmalade, tropical fruits, wet rinds. A really fresh IIPA with loads of character and extremely drinkable.

Orange amber, quickly disappearing thin head and decent lacing. Citrus peel, resinous, earthy. A bitter wallop up front with even more bitterness on the wash. At 8.2abv and 72.41 I.B.U. this is some serious brew. More great stuff from Lagunitas. $10.99/12oz bottle sixer at Publix Boca Raton Florida.

Draught@Vastarannan kiiski. Amber color, rich tan head. Piny hop aroma. Strong flavor with caramel malts, resiny hops, citric notes, bit of warming alcohol. Full body, medium carbonation. Thick mouthfeel. Nice.

Poured from a bottle. Pours a clear golden orange with a thin white head. Sweet citrus and some light pine aroma. Clingy and slightly oily. Fairly smooth with light bitterness on the tongue and roof of the mouth. Taste is mostly citrus rind. Not too bitter or harsh but it has a very dry finish. Not bad but not my favorite.

8.2%ABV. IPA. Poured out a deep Amber. 16ºSRM. Nose is sweet over-ripe pineapple. Nose has a round sweetness reminiscent of a port or sherry. Mouthfeel is sudsy. There is adequate carbonation. The palate has roasted malty flavors that are nutty, caramel, toasted cracked barley bread, creme brulee, The palate is very sweet and and sticky, sticky date pudding and molasses come to mind. Hops are pronounced with pine, resin and some nice bitterness, not agressive or hyssop. Finish is medium. Pleasant. Goes on Favorites List!
