COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

nice copper pour with a quick fading head. Light smell... citrus and flowery pine. Watery mouthfeel, citrus and malt. Good beer for the ABV and 11.99/sixer price tag but overall pretty average.

Amber pour, nice head. Citrusy aroma. Nice hoppy flavor with some sweet maltiness. A solid DIPA. I like what Lagunitas has to offer here.

Bottle at home from stockholm, 10th April 14. Nice DIPA, very drinkable, and good balanced beer. Nice stuff

Pretty much a Lagunitas IPA on steroids, orange juicy, medium bitterness, a bit thick bodied for a WC IPA, tasty but nowhere near my tops.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Nothing extraordinary about this but drinks well and is relatively fresh which is nice. Mainly driven by citric fruit and pine. Slightly sticky which works nicely. Good drop

Bottle. Pours copper with a short head that leaves great lace. Huge aroma of pine, citrus, hay and grass. Nicely balanced medium bitter and sweet, interesting flavors of grapefruit and bubblegum, oily texture, medium body, average carbo and a brief balanced finish with sweet in the far finish.

Very clear and pale golden color. Good white retention and lace. Aroma of sweet malts, flowers, pine, some kind of fruit, spice, sugar. Taste is hoppy and mildly bitter. A little sweet but excellent balance with the hops. Really well done.

12 ounce bottle pours a medium copper color with white creamy head that lasts. Nice amount of lacing seems like there's hop residue or chill haze in the beer. Aroma is very piney with some sweet caramel malt scent along with some citrus. Nice malt to bitter hop balance a bit more full-bodied than a standard IPA.

bottle. Amber with one finger head. Kicked up version of the standard IPA. A bit of alcohol warmth, but very tasty.

The aroma is decidedly pine and grapefruit, with hints of sweet malt. Copper pour, nice lacing left, with a rim of head around the circumference of the glass. Taste is grapefruit, pine, and some nice bitterness. Good DIPA.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a dark amber/copper colored body with a nice two finger white foamy head that quickly dies and leaves some speckled spider web lacing that fully clings. The smell has a rich considerable amounts of malty goodness with a wonderful allocation of citrus and piney hops embedded within. The taste was bittersweet all the way through, no ifís, andís, or butís about it, this beauty shows a nice complexity of the piney/citrusy goodness wonderfully combined with the malts. Iím not getting any aftertaste whatsoever, but there is a dry finish. On the palate, it sat about a medium to almost heavy (perhaps) more likely closer to medium, semi-sessionable, carbonation is good for the style and very good to me as thereís a nice sharpness, but still shows a decent smoothness. Overall, gee, what a great DIPA, wishing I would have had this fresh, Iíll be sure to look for this Summer when it comes out as I would definitely have this one again especially if it held out for this long.
