3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 GTCruiser01 (105) - California, USA - FEB 19, 2012Nice copper pour with a half-finger head that leaves an ok lace throughout. The hop aroma is apparent as well as well as some candyish sweetness. The taste is a pretty nice citrus hoppiness with a sticky malt sweetness. The hop flavor is pretty basic not a whole lot of depth and/or variation. The mouthfeel is sticky and a little slick. I really can’t stand a slick on my pallet. The slickness detracts from any potential for crispness and "refreshing or quenching" attributes. Overall this is a good flavored and bodied brew with a slick mouthfeel.

Poured from 6 fl oz bottle. Clear orange-ish yellow with full white head. Citrus and light hops on the nose. Has almost a surprising sweet malty caramel taste along with a medium dry hop finish.

Bomber to a pint glass. Solid IPA. On the piney side. A little too sweet to be a top tier IIPA. Very drinkable.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 TimsRatings (97) - - JUN 9, 2013
From bottle 12oz.
Pours a dark gold with a fair bit of head that fades quickly but leaves some nice lacing.
Taste is very hoppy/fruity, with a bit of bite. Pleasant aftertaste centering on fruity hops. Would be another nice summer beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Tortman18 (105) - Batavia, Illinois, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Pours a dark copper with a huge, 2 fingers of frothy off white head. Leaves a lot of sticky lacing. Nose is typical of an imperial IPA. Very citrusy and moderately hoppy. A lot of grapefruit and orange. Mouth is very bitter and sweet. A lot of citrus again. Grapefruit, orange and pineapple. The finish has a lot of pine and is very sticky.
