COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

Awesome double ipa. Pours a great copper color with a thin white head. Floral nose with fresh cut grass. Copper taste finished by a smooth finish.

Keg at the Hare and Billet, Blackheath. Amber pour with a beige head. Tangerine and tropical fruit aroma. Mango, citrus and pear flavour. Boozy mouthfeel. Sweet, fruity finish. Tasty.

Aug ’14. A 0.355 l bottle from some Systembolaget in or around Stockholm. It poured clear amber body with medium sized head. Strong citrus, herbal, spicy and other hop aromas were balanced with typical IPA biscuit malt. Quite bitter flavor, various hop bitterness, too, also rounded with biscuit and fine jaffa cakes malt. Needs some time to open up its complexity and to be enjoyed. Hop notes are really divergent, from typical citrus, herbal, pine, to some weird soapy (not bad somehow) bitterness. Fuller in body, only lightly bitter finish, more of the malt now overtakes for longer aftertaste and fuller enjoyment. Excellent!

22 oz bomber in an English pint. Clear orange pour, minimal off white head. Lotsa hops on the nose and then some pine. Citrus is a bit strong upfront then the malt comes thru. This is a PFG brew. Sometimes I have a hard time with IPA’s at first. It takes a bit to appreciate the hoppy ones.

Mostly clear amber with a little white head that leaves a bit of lace. Nice hoppy aroma, piney with a hint of citrus. Flavor is smooth, not very bitter. Not bad.

From a 12 ounce bottle (this is becoming among my favorite American breweries). Pours a beautiful copper with a pinky of head. Our favorite nose of pine tar/piñones. The taste is done well. A hint of bitter that lingers and transitions into sweet/candy taste, but done well. Alcohol is hidden. A very good beer. Edited for spelling/grammar.

355mL bottle from Slowbeer....numbers make no sense to me? Pale copper gold body, holds a creamy white head. Punchy hop nose; lots of pine sap & cut grass, woody spices, dried leafy herbs, with a backbone of biscuity malt. Full body, moderate carbonation, resiny, oily, chewy, long on the palate. Succulent palate, dripping with hops; citrus, pine, sap, cedar, dried bay, eucalyptus, all tempered (to a degree) with toasty biscuity malts. Bitterness is aggressive without being astringent. Warming finish, begs another sip. Well crafted, intensely flavoured DIPA. Excellent balance.

35cl Bottle from Craft&Draft. Clear Amber/orange colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, resin, some tropical fruits, light citrus. Not nearly as hoppy as I hoped. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, caramel, resin, grass, citrus, light fruity, decent bitter finish. Medium bodied. Lacks a whole lot of hops, guess they got killed on the way over to NL. BB 12-2015.
