COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

An unclear orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and grassy. The flavor is sweet hoppy with a dry hoppy end. Quite simple, but nice.

22 fl oz bottle, comes as Lagunitas Limited Release IPA Maximus Ale. Pours hazy orange with a huge off-white head. Pinewood needle aroma, dry and quite inviting. Flavour is light acidic pine wood - dry wooden hops note following. Mild sweet caramel malt base appears before the finish. Dry wooden finish. Nice one! Goes great with barbeque.

(Bottle 65 cl) Beautiful, clear amber with a creamy, thick head leaving some lacework. Distinct aroma hops in the nose. Flavour of sweet caramel malt with a very solid, hoppy finish. A very typical Double IPA with a routinely touch. 221005

Bottled@The 1st Vaasa CS/ES beer session (thanks JS). Deep orange colour with small slightly off-white head. Aroma is bigtime pine, fruits, some slight grassyness as well. Flavour is quite much the same. Big time hoppyness, but still in a quite good balance.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2004 Bottled. Orange-amber, big fluffy head. Orangey nose. Sweet and boldly malty with soft, but syrupy and fatty mouthfeel. Like sweetened, concentrated orange juice, but with very bitter finish. Too sticky.

Hazy orange colour with a small fast disappearing head. Lots of hops in the aroma, hints of resin too. Hoppy flavor with some malty notes. Hints of resin too. Floral hoppy and long aftertaste.

MiP (12478) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 9, 2008
Bottle, 7.5%. Nice, sweet and caramelly hop aroma. Clear copper colour, small white head. The flavour is quite sweet, caramelly. Grassy from the hops with a good, cleansing bitterness. The finish has a little teaish hoppiness along with a good alcohol note. Quite flavourful but still well-balanced.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2009 Orange amber with a good head. Malty caramel & fine hop aroma. Flowery & piney. Very fresh & crisp. Fruity & elegant. Rerate July 09: Very sweet malty profile. Caramel and bread. Ok hops as well but way too sweet malty.
