COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

This beer has the most beautiful head Iíve ever seen. Too bad its a style I donít care for. Way too hoppy. The English invented this style and got it right, West Coast brewers took it too far. I thought the head was really great though.....

Bottle. Clear light amber with orange hue. Creamy dense head and excellent retention. Aroma is orange blossom, basil, honey, peaches. Taste is Citra hops with good malt support. The brew has an initial bite, but finishes very smooth on the palate. Very, very good.

Pours clear amber with a think cream head. Aroma of resin, grapefruit with hint of alcohol and butter :( This drinks like an IPA, but offers a richer aroma and a decent bitter finish. Would be perfect if not for the diacetyl.

22oz Bottle A - Pours clear orange amber with a pillow off white head. Good retention/lacing. S - Malt and fruity hops. T - Caramel malt, pine, grapefruit, and citrus rind. M - Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Citrus rind finish. O - What Iíve come to expect from this brewery, another solid ale.

Very nice hop aroma. Light bodied, but slightly oily. Slightly sweet with strong, but mild alcohol note that slowly reveals dark fruits. Finishes with a chorus of flavors. Lots of interesting, unexpected effects. A masterful IIPA.

Rich hoppy IPA with more malt than is typical for a CA IPA. Nice flavor complexity in both nose and mouth. Dark (for an IPA) pour, big head, med-full body.

Poured a hazy straw yellow mice fluffy white head. Aromas were grapfruit hop and citrus. Flavor reflected the aroma with grapfruit and citrus with a piny like flavor as well as a earthy note. well balanced flavor quite simple and good

12 oz. bottle poured into tulip glass. Appearance is a slightly hazy golden-orange with moderate off-white head which dissipates pretty quickly. Aroma is a lot of citrus, especially grapefruit and orange. There is also a slight whiff of malt. The taste is a good balance of hops and malt. There is a citrus flavor which reminds me of grapefruit rind. Smooth, crisp feel without being too light. Another solid Lagunitas beer.

Pours a nice light amber color. Tastes very smooth and good with a different bitter after taste.

Decent flavor, ultra hoppy. But it seriously looked like coors or something (very yellow, very pale, not hazy at all), had barely any aroma, and felt awfully thin in the mouth. Overall not too terribly impressed, not very balanced.
