3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Citrus mixed with pine aroma. Pours a thick malted head. Amber colored and Sweet (peaches? what is that fruit i taste?) on the tip of the tongue and finishes with a hoppy wallop. Very refreshing. Be warned though. At 8.2% ABV refreshing can quickly give way to sleeping !

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2008 I love the beautiful look of this beer. Its really cloudy with a dark orange hus and off white lasting head. The aroma is that of a good IPA, citrus and sweet. I think overall this is a supper yummy beer. I donít like to rate based on category, but this is not an imperial/double IPA. My girlfriend, who is not a bitter fan, didnít even think this was bitter. I didnít either.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Out of the bottle so color is hard to judge. Smell is sweet without much hoppiness. Taste is much sweeter than I expected or would have liked. Not too bad, but not my favorite.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a good IPA, piny taste. Was definitley lacking in aroma when compared with some other IPAs. Very citrusy. Was cloudy in appearance.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Maybe this would be better on tap. Lagunitas makes some great IPAs but this is not one of them. The hops just arenít there, they donít have the intense citrus kick that a good California ipa should have.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rather hazy amber-orange, diminishing head. Very hoppy on the nose, with grass-clippings and citrus. Thick body, moderately sweet, with a wonderfully bitter ending.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a dark copper with a huge, 2 fingers of frothy off white head. Leaves a lot of sticky lacing. Nose is typical of an imperial IPA. Very citrusy and moderately hoppy. A lot of grapefruit and orange. Mouth is very bitter and sweet. A lot of citrus again. Grapefruit, orange and pineapple. The finish has a lot of pine and is very sticky.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a bottle. Pours a capper color. Aromas of piney and citrus hops. More citrusy, piney hops in the taste with some caramel malt. Very dry finish. Good double IPA.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This one is quite alright. Hoppy in both aroma and taste, this brew has an off-white head that fades promptly but never disappears altogether. Light amber in color. Smooth on the palate and finishes faintly bitter as an IPA should. I would have thought something with this abv would have had more of an impact on me, but it is simply enjoyable, not intriguing.
